This just keeps getting better...thanks for the image!

My thoughts exactly. Its funny to look back on the coments of this line when we first saw pliminary pics, and how people feel about the line now that people have there hands on most of these sets. Just goes to show that you can't judge anything to soon! I knew a long time ago that there was potential for a line like this. Glad that the lego company finnaly came through!!

Still holding out for mission 6!!

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but here's a preliminary pic of 8636:

Looks like the took an old alpha-team deep sea set and slapped Agents on it. Particularly that thing in the lower right corner.

I bet this is extremely preliminary.

Wow! that set's awesome! I love that octopus! That evil-looking guy in the circle in the corner is kind of remeniscent of the minions in the old Alpha team sets.

although this set looks pretty good im alittle disappointed with the fact it looks like in the little comic at the top that the villian is the guy with the metal jaws and not a new one to add to the group :(

Dont know if this info concerns sale outside of Japan though.

Oh dear. I looks like an interesting set, hopefully it will be available all around. :sceptic:

Alpha Team Mission Deep Sea was one of my favourite themes, and I can tell you that one of the only things reminiscent of it in this set is the minifig with the insectoid helmet.

It doesn't look much like this or this to me. Meh, it looks good though.

It might mean that it will be a clickbrick exclusive in Japan. Similar to how here there are toy's r us exclusives here but since they don't have TRUs in all countries, the other countries have them in different stores. My bet, is that in the states it will probably be a TRU exclusive.

I hope the nose of this opens allowing the Technic grab to snake out on a flexible arm and draw the treasure in. While I'm not crazy about the use of Bionicle/Technic pieces like this in system sets, if they are at least employed in a workable fashion, I can suppress my dissatisfaction. I wish TLC would bring back the old arm pieces or design a grab like the Classic Space sets used.

Glowing octopus?! Someone's been dumping nuclear waste in Lego City Harbour, I think.

The submarine, well, I'm not as keen on it as I am the other 6 sets, but I still like it. It's got a sort of retro feel to the design. But no, I like it. That's not necessarily a good thing though, as this year will cost even more money.

I thought that. It reminds me of something from a Gerry Anderson programme.

Yes! That's it! Something out of Stingray.

I'll stop myself there before I go off on a geek discussion about the Andersonverse.
