RupeeClock Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 So there are six missions, and each mission (except for mission 2) gets bigger, as the number. Then my qeustion is, is there (like the SW mini's) in every kit a set of extra parts, wich from you can make something (as official building instructions, back of the booklet) special if you have collected all the kits ? Maybe it's a too long sentence for 1 question, but i mean: If you have collected all 6 missions, do you then have enough "extra" sets that makes a little Bonus Mission ?? ~RupeeClock Quote

X-D) Each little set came with a special piece, and once you got all the sets you could put all the unique pieces together to create a satelite or something. It's a good idea, and would be pretty neat if TLC did it with the Agents line. ~Peace Quote
Oky Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 (edited) :-( Please, guys, I need to know: : What kind of weapons are OK for steampunk MOCs? Old machine guns? Crossbows? Or just anything from the pirate sets? Edited January 18, 2008 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
captaintau Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Who flies a black Eta 2? Darth Vader, between ROTS and ANH, before he gets his lovely new TIE Advanced x1 Quote

Or just anything from the pirate sets? Please don't badger people to answer your question. You are probably not going to have much luck getting an answer to this in a thread about something completely different. Perhaps you should start a separate thread, or just look at steampunk MOCs and look to see what weapons other people include in theirs. Quote

Tarfful Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I think those JSF wings are in dark blue, not black. I desparetly hope you are wrong! X-D But now that I look at the picture they do seem more dark blue than black. 8-| Please, please, please TLC we want BLACK Eta-2 wings! General Tarful Quote

General Tarful It would make much more sence to me if Lego reused the dark blue wings from 7661, because any extras and such could be used in this set aswell. I see many specialized elements as such reused. Saves them money = good ;-) Or they could be black and I could be horribly wrong X-D Quote
jamtf Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 The whole line seems to be a bit <insert that tiresome argument> if you ask me, especially the vehicles. Apart from the huge bike which is cool this new line of sets reminds me of Alpha Team and sets like 7045 Hovercraft Hideout, and World City police sets from the 2003 era (7032, 7034 + 7035 just to name a few). Not too exciting and didn't we already get too many police sets in the Lego City lay-out each year? Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 That chainsaw arm, if that's what it is, better god damn be reversible. I hate having asymmetrical stuff in my Lego building fun. Looks like a fun line for kids... though it's severely lacking in color. Quote

X-D But now that I look at the picture they do seem more dark blue than black. 8-| Please, please, please TLC we want BLACK Eta-2 wings! General Tarful I don't see why they would have to be dark blue. Lego hasn't seemed to restrict piece colors like that before across themes. Or course, with the new production processes in place to maximize profits you could be right. However... If we get Black wings here. And Orange wings in a new Town set. And White wings in a new MM set. Where will purple wings for Mace's ship come from? ;-) -Tohst Quote

Where will purple wings for Mace's ship come from? ;-) -Tohst Good Question! Perhaps in a new Belville set? X-D Parts for Mace's Eta 2 ON! But white ones? which MM set are u talking about? I can't see any of this piece anywhere in them. 8-| Btw, rumors about these pieces being blue could be true, but they still look quite black to me. So, anyway, what do you guys think that engine on the side of the speedboat is for? It doesn't seem to represent an engine really as there is obviously only one of them, so it's probably some kind of action function. The only thing I can think of would be a batcave style net launcher, which could be since there seems to be something spikey in front of it. at first I thought it was barbed wire, but what sense would that make? *wacko* Also, does anyone understand the story of Mission 3? I know that the objective is to retrieve a map that reveals the location of something Metal-Jaw has hidden - but what did he hide? The previously stolen gold and/or diamond? And if he came into the swamp just to hide that stuff, why then has the tower his logo on it? Perhaps he put it on there right after his arrival in order to mark it as his? It's the bank truck with the TwoFace paint job all over again! :-| How about Mission 6? The important thing in this one seems to be a bad guy the agents imprisoned and who the other cyborgs try to free, somebody with crazu hair. Wait a minute, is that supposed to be the leader of the bad guys? The one depicted in their logo? That would make kind of sense. But why is this taking place on a peer? I just don't get it. Honestly, I miss a consistent storyline like in the original Alpha Team or the Adventure sets here. If TLC decides to number the missions, they should at least make it make sense and have it be an ongoing story! That would have been cool, you know, with the important items in each mission being part of a grand plan to take over the world or something! But, no, as of the looks of it, these cyborgs don't seem like an organization bent on world domination or anything at all, more like mere thugs - stealing some treasure here, kidnapping some operatives there... As a future cartoonist and fan of Heroes-and-Villains stories, I'd have to say that this is one of the greatest flaws of this theme! *sad* Not Good, TLC! |-/ But, oh well! I guess, it's all about the plastic anyway. X-D Edited January 19, 2008 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote

Tohst Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 In which MM set is there White Eta-2 wings?General Tarful Check out 7644, the big spaceship. Looks like 1 whole wing right in the front center of the ship. So, unless you're going for a battle damaged look, you might need two of the set unless there is a second one hidden. of course, that wing could disappear in the final set anyway -Tohst Quote
General Zen Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 What is with all the mutated animals in this line? Spider people, bomb-gators, and sharks with fricken laser beams attached to their heads! :-/ I am not totally sure about all this. I hope the final versions are better. ;-) Quote

The mutated animals are my favourite part about this line. I hope the heavy use of guns and violence is removed from the final versions, so that the Agents line can be a cool, ultra-campy spyfest. Brickmaster Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 At first I thought the engine would just mean it would be like a hyrdoplane boat, where its basically a jet turbine with two pontoons, however, I then saw that there is only one on that one side. That could cause some... complications if it was a jet boat. So at that point I've no idea, but your net launching idea might be nifty, cute at that, I would love if it was! :-D *shoots net* >:-) Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Oh yeah, you're right! 8-| But don't you mean four of the set? It's only one wing, and Etas have 4! |-/ Looks like a job for BL! ;-) But back to topic: Did anybody figure out the use of the engine on the speedboat yet? I still think its a net launcher. Ehh, no. It's got two, so he'd only need two. The other one is on the left side. It's a thin line; you can barely see it. ;-) Quote
