Did anybody figure out the use of the engine on the speedboat yet? I still think its a net launcher.

I'm agreeing that it's a mixed bag, but some of my money will go towards them- the Agent's vehicles/figs are great, it's just the bad-guy vehicles that turn me off. They look fun, though, so I'll be grabbing a couple.

Regarding violence, this is not LEGO's worst. That award goes to Dino Attack.

Lasers are not less destructive than bullets.

Yeah, on one side is a flick-fire missile if I remember correctly, and on the other side is a net launcher like in the Batcave.

TLC removed them i wonder why?

TLC Requested they be removed probably because the pics were prototypes from a Retailer Catalogue, which isn't supposed to be for the public. Its a matter of corporate security, and is one of the problems the Ambassadors are facing. As much as the community likes to see them, myself included ;-) Remember, other companies could potentially see them too. We don't want that to happen, would we? That said, I personally like to see prototype pics, I am just saying this from what TLC's standpoint probably is.

It was, it was called Dino 2010 and they removed all the guns and gave them Nets to catch the dinos. I doubt we see this Agents stuff in europe. Unless in those cheap outlet stores

Probably cuz its a brand new idea, ulike SW, Racers or Bionicle TLG is more worried that a knockoff company not get ahold of their fresh ideas than some of their current lines.

Which is understandable IMHO.

because mayby they just started seeing the threat of just letting the pics go public so early? and as jonny 5 said, its a new idea/theme that hasnt been done yet and it isnt a licensed theme because if it was it would be easier to get sued and by more people too,.

Well those may or may not get taken down, it depends on if LEGO is going to throw a temper tantraum to them too :-D

And the pics may or may not be down for good. We did Lego a favor by honoring their request, but some of those may be fair game, we'll see ;-) EB is and always will be the place for leaked pics

We have a certain agreement with TLG to not post pictures with enough advance as to give their competitors time to copy their designs and get them out before they can. Which pictures were taken down (and which will go back up) are not a matter of the source, but rather the timing.
