January 17, 200817 yr Author you got some of them lucky you Erm, undoubtedly the LEGO furniture I ordered just before Christmas - 90% off.Dr. S.
January 17, 200817 yr Misb M-tron and Monorail Accessory packs in 2007 at their retail pice. Although, if you mean sale wise, it would probably have to be the 40% off wal mart had on most large sets - I got the mobile devastator, kings castle, and bat tank, 240$, for only 140$. Pretty darn good deal to me? :-$
January 17, 200817 yr My friend got the combat crawler for twenty five bucks! That seemed like a decent deal to me. The set itself wasn't that bad either...
January 17, 200817 yr I unfortunately have this fear of missing sets, so I seldom wait for them to go on sale. This is mostly because I collect Star Wars, and the last three years, most sets haven't been making it to sales. With that said, the best deal I've gotten is when I just saved five dollars on my S@H order about a week ago, hahahah. Edited January 17, 200817 yr by Kukla
January 17, 200817 yr Red Beard Runner found as a re-packaged return at TRU for $10.80 X-D All the pieces were there... Followed closely, although years later, by Defense of the Golden Tower for $12.00 at Target.
January 17, 200817 yr My best deal, was the Batcave last summer. Our local TRU just reduced the price from about 100
January 17, 200817 yr A bunch of the smaller early Star Wars sets like the Final Duel and Jedi Defense pairs, Gungan Patrol, Ewok Attack, Desert Skiff (whatever it was called) and such for between $1-2 back in the glorious days of massively overstocked sets and deep discounts. *sweet* Most of my more recent deals have just been sets in themes I wouldn't normally buy, like Exo-Force, but at 50% or better. I've gotten a little too jumpy to wait for the ones I really want to go on sale, so I tend to pick them up at full price and then try for spares on sale. Sadly, it doesn't happen often. I know of at least one store with cases of Imperial Landing Craft and Y-Wings at full price, but I'm sure that they'll drop them to nothing one day and I'll go in and they'll be cleared out. Seems to be how it works ... :'-( I did get some of the new battlepacks and Indy sets last night at 10% off (hey, it adds up) with a store discount card. I'm happy. *y*
January 17, 200817 yr UCS Yoda Sculpture $20 Canadian (at Winners) in 2005. I didn't buy it! *yoda* :-X IDIOT! Best deal I ever bought in a store? Republic Gunship, $50 Canadian in 2005. Sold it a year later for 250 US$, and probably if I had hung on to it now, I could have gotten even more. eBay: some Hong Kong guy sold me a box of LEGO for about 8 bucks. When I got it I realized it had a full Airtech Claw Rig in it, Shock Cycle, and several other pounds of useful studded bricks, gears, and classic technic stuff. I felt so guilty that I sent him more money after I got the LEGO.
January 17, 200817 yr i posted this before on eurobricks...but i can't find the thread now. Vladek's fortress, complete but badly torned up box for $0.25 + tax = $0.27 from walmart. :-P
January 17, 200817 yr Erm, undoubtedly the LEGO furniture I ordered just before Christmas - 90% off.Dr. S. Thats definitley also one of the best deals that I've ever found... Except from when my local Tru had 50% off all Lego *wub* Damn I was broke after that week.
January 17, 200817 yr Damn, I have never found any of the crazy deals you guys have found. Probably the biggest deal for me world be 25% off at TRU. Glyman what winners did you see the Yoda at? Was it the one in East York?

Was it the one in East York? Eglinton, a bit East of Laird, near the Home Depot (aren't they all?) Winners used to be amazing for LEGO bargoons in the past, but the last couple of years have been a wasteland. Nothing but Bionicle sets, and the occasional Batman set. All the Batman stuff was selling at 30-50% off this year, but meh....

I usually only go their when my sister is home from the U.S. X-D Now that I am thinking about it, I do remember them having one of the big Time Twisters sets in 2001 or 2002 that was $20.
January 18, 200817 yr Post / Look for coupons here: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/lego.com I once bought 26 pounds of LEGO off of Craigslist for $50
January 18, 200817 yr I bought the Harry P. Chamber of secrets when it was on sale by my local intertoys. It was first 100 euro. And after some 10% extra I got it for 45 euro. 8-
January 19, 200817 yr I bought 9748 Droid Development Kit for $4 (a 96 percent discount) with a box, with all pieces included at a charity shop about a year ago.
January 19, 200817 yr One of the best deals I ever found was set 2140 MISB for 30,00 euro recently, on a dutch advertisement website. Bricklink prices are often quite high, but in this case the difference was very, very big
January 19, 200817 yr Author I just got a pretty good deal today again at walmart they had 2 sets at 60% off
January 21, 200817 yr My best deal was a Sentai HQ for 60 Euros. *sweet* A friend got double present for birthday and he sold me his older used one with all parts. :-)
