I started working on my Lego Disney Castle back in the fall, right after I got it for my birthday. I quickly realized I had several missing pieces in one of the early bags in the build. They weren't critical to the build so I kept going. Now I'm further along and have realized more pieces are missing that are actually needed for the build. I requested replacement parts right after Christmas but haven't received a shipping notice or anything besides the generic confirmation. I have looked in corners of bags and even in other bags. I have some random pieces extra but they aren't suitable to replace. So now I'm stuck and can't continue the build. How long will it take to get my parts? The castle is huge and taking up my dining table right now. Thanks!

If your brick replacement isn't cancelled (happened to me twice) parts should be delivered in somewhat 2 weeks. Depends on your location probably.

What happens if it is cancelled? Do I return the set and re-buy? I'm not going to be out $350 for a set I can't complete.

Why would it have been cancelled? Call and ask. The customer service replacement/missing/damage brick service is significantly more busy after the holidays so much so that they close down their bricks and pieces purchase service until february.

Literally nothing. I had to check my request online (you get the reference code if I remember correctly) only to find it was "Cancelled". No further explanations. Another request to replace same piece got cancelled as well. And I don't know the actual reason behind this.

While it is the best thing to do in case of any questions it is not always possible. Basically you can call if you live in a country where Official TLG shops are present. Here in Lithuania you have to "drop them a message" and hope they are going to read it.

1-4 weeks after confirmation of them sending it was the estimate I got from them before.

There was a broken piece in one of my sets.

I got mine in 3weeks or so.
