pogo Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Hello everyone, I have many old sets which are using this differential http://rebrickable.com/parts/6573 and as you can see, you can easily create differential lock using part http://rebrickable.com/parts/6539. But I was wondering - is there any official set which actually uses this parts combination? Quote
KamalMYafi Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) I think.. There are no sets that use Differential lock, because there is a few LEGO sets are RC and usually differential lock work in RC model and useless on non-RC model. Edited January 15, 2017 by KamalMYafi Quote
Jurss Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 I think, that problem is - it is getting too wide with this combination. You should build something very large or use it for central differential. Or some clever construction is needed, where that differential is not in line with wheels. Quote
suffocation Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Actually, you can easily get away with 13 studs from hub to hub on a steered axle. Quote
zux Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Use Sariel's diff lock solution. It is strong and quite compact. Quote
