I reckon I've come up with a new building technique using a 30134 - Staircase 7x4x6 as rafters. I apologise in advance if this technique has been posted before.

The advantages of using a 30134 - Staircase 7x4x6 piece in this context is allowing the roof to be structurally stronger and they also represent the wooden rafters that go diagonally across a typical roof.

GPU! I've not seen it done before, but it works phenomenally well indeed. LEGO loves using those stairs, so this is a great way to use them up.

The chair looks like you could sink right into it.

This is an excellent usage for this piece.  It appears to add structural support to roofs done in this way.

Thanks for sharing. This is a great idea, and I finally found a way to use those stairs again. The effect of rafters is very authentic.
