Posted January 15, 20178 yr I reckon I've come up with a new building technique using a 30134 - Staircase 7x4x6 as rafters. I apologise in advance if this technique has been posted before. The advantages of using a 30134 - Staircase 7x4x6 piece in this context is allowing the roof to be structurally stronger and they also represent the wooden rafters that go diagonally across a typical roof. January 15, 20178 yr GPU! I've not seen it done before, but it works phenomenally well indeed. LEGO loves using those stairs, so this is a great way to use them up. The chair looks like you could sink right into it. Edited January 15, 20178 yr by mikeright
January 15, 20178 yr Hi I have seen it before never used it myself ( maybe now that i have seen it again i try this technique ) thanks for sharing Greetings
January 15, 20178 yr This is so very perfect!!! I have a pile of those I don't use and now the attic in a house I'm building will look amazing!! Thank you for the post!!
January 17, 20178 yr This is an excellent usage for this piece. It appears to add structural support to roofs done in this way.
January 17, 20178 yr Wow! Extremely clever part usage! That almost looks like that piece was designed for that purpose! Edited January 17, 20178 yr by VaderFan2187
January 17, 20178 yr Thanks for sharing. This is a great idea, and I finally found a way to use those stairs again. The effect of rafters is very authentic.
