Posted January 16, 20178 yr Welcome to the gallery of older Lego printed decorations, currently featuring various old printed Lego tiles and bricks. The owner, like many in Modular Town, isn't a big fan of stickers but has acquired a decent amount of printed tiles over time and decided to put them on display for the minifigures to reminisce. Exterior Front: Back: With other modulars: The three floors separated: First floor gallery: Second floor apartment, features include queen size bed, small kitchen, dresser, flatscreen TV, bathroom with storage above, window A/C unit, balcony, roof access and emergency fire escape: Roof features garden, seating and outdoor storage: Edited March 4, 20177 yr by koalayummies Final changes image update

Greetings Thank you. I appreciate it both of you. Quick update can't believe I forgot this, the reason the jail door and ladder on top of the roof access: And removed the seaweed pieces from under the tree as it doesn't look right, definitely in Historic/Pirate and star wars jungles but not in a Town tree.

January 17, 20178 yr Looks nice, especially the interior. The photos are superb. I don't know how you did that... I am not too fond of the cheese slopes on the facade though, I would change that. But apparently it's only me ;)
January 17, 20178 yr Nice idea, I remember and have quite a lot of those printed pieces. Propably should do something with them

It looks different in person and not nearly as pronounced. On January 17, 2017 at 11:11 AM, RogerSmith said: Nice idea, I remember and have quite a lot of those printed pieces. Won't mind at all if you do something similar, we should preserve these old pieces and find creative uses for them. January 20, 20178 yr Nice idea. I really like the interior. It is full of nice details to look at. The exterior looks a bit too crowded for my taste. I think it's because you are using quite a lot of colors and also a lot of cheese slopes.
January 20, 20178 yr Author Thanks peedeejay, the new interior is much an improvement from the original. Sorry some don't like the exterior but as an moc it brings some welcomed (personal opinion) contrast between the official Lego sets which make many collections too similar (present company excluded, your mocs are great). I've got another modular in the works in LDD that is more conservative and traditional in exterior build. This one was free-built with almost no planning other than the first floor would be a gallery.
January 23, 20178 yr I like the roof access and garden on the top. It's a real mix of styles, colors, and textures. It has character and I like that. Feels very lived in.

Feels very lived in. Thanks Eliza, I really appreciate it! Last and final update before I start another modular. Did some small changes like adding lighting (superficial not light functions) above all the gallery walls. Corrected the mismatched door frames with window colors which really looked bad, mismatched doors and general refinements throughout as well as some additional printed pieces found while sorting through my old childhood Lego collection. First post updated to reflect all the changes and cleaned up some of the old images in other posts. Thanks again for all the kind words.
March 4, 20177 yr This is great! I don't know how I missed it when you first posted. I especially like the interior and I plan to mimic some of the roof top on a future build.
