Vaionaut Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Hi, here's an older MOC that I haven't posted on EB so far. Maybe the one or the other had seen it on flickr, but I wanted to share it with you also here now. It's a Junkers G23, an airplane from the 1920s manufractured in Germany. It was the predecessor model of the more popular Ju 52. Wasn't too easy to get all the parts, especially some rare ones like all the pearl light gray bricks with grille (from the Santa Fe Wagons) or the black motor grilles (from the first Knight Bus). Hope you like it :) Junkers G.23 by Vaionaut, on Flickr PS: Posted it in the Adventures forum because I thought it fits quite good here (Junkers airplanes also appeared in Indiana Jones for example). Axle Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Really beautiful plane, Vaionaut! Love the use of Agent Kallus head as the pilot, suits the time period oddly enough! How long did it take to build?? Quote
goalieboy82 Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 cool MOC. should try this sometime: Quote
Littleworlds Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Spectacular build! Its not easy to get the shape and proportions right, but you really nailed it. I like old airplanes and the 1920s are the era when they evolved from adventurous (and hazardous) vehicles to serious means of transportation. Though mass transportation was still a couple of decades away. Nice to see such things in Lego P.S. I don't quite get the undercarriage. Is there a mechanism of some sorts? Quote
