Didn't know there was a list of folks for the numbered bricks!  It'll be a while before I can afford the parts - and the display space - but I'm checkin' in here.

Is it still possible to get the book or such for one of these?

i just bought the UCS Y wing set as that is my favourite ship but the U wing is a very close second and this looks like an amazing build to one day collect the bricks for and build.

i filled out the form on the website a few days ago but haven't received a response of any kind, and I've checked the junk folder.

Hi I apologize for the delay but these days I'm very busy organizing an exhibition. As soon as I have a moment of time I will answer you. Have faith! :-)

Hey, fellow builders!

I have LOVED building this U-Wing UCS set, it has been remarkably fun and is an amazing display.   But I unfortunately need to part with it.

I am offering this complete set and instruction book.  Please PM or email me at bradyhales@hotmail.com if interested.  I am selling it for the exact price I paid for the book and bricks off bricklink.

Save yourself the time and headache of ordering on BL and grab this from me!

I also emailed him on May 6th, but have not heard back since :(

i wasn’t aware he was putting on an exhibition though. That would explain it.

Does the black 33211 wagon wheel huge (43 mm) need to be black or can it be substituted with another color?  There are very few black 33211 floating around...

I got them as gray, bought double of them that is required, and took 4, primed them and then used automotive gloss black and sprayed them and cleared them. Now I can decide if I want them as the black painted ones, or just use the old gray that I bought - the price of black is kind of astronomical

Good call!  Any recommendations on the brand of primer and paint?

I used Krylon gray primer as its my favorite for models and the like, and then just automotive gloss black rustoleum paint and clear coat

Thanks for the tips!  Picked up some similar items --- now the wait begins for my parts to arrive....

I got them in dark gray as well, but there's really no need to paint them in my opinion. The parts are inside the engines, and although they can be seen from the front, dark gray doesn't look off at all in that place (and it's dark in there anyway).

Second that - I had the grey wheels fitted at first as I had them in my stockpile - then managed to find enough black ones from BL and swapped them out - after a few weeks I put the grey wheels back on for that used/in service feel.  Both look good.
