TheBeeze Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 (edited) Feleia: Another long Harvest this year. P6PR- The odds are very high. But, you don't care for odds. Feleia: I don't know how long I can go on like this. A whole nother season alone. TheBeeze: Hello Beautiful Feleia: What are you doing home?! I cant believe this! TheBeeze: I put in for leave time. I was granted a 2 day liberty, caught a freighter out, and here I am. THE NEXT DAY TheBeeze: *YAWNING* Oh Man! That was a good night sleep. I'll go make the rounds before Feleia gets up. P6PR- Long time no see stranger. How is the galaxy? TheBeeze: Interesting and on the verge of something big. P6PR- Whatever it is, you understand how much you are missed here. TheBeeze: Of course, but I feel like I'm actually making a difference in this war. It will be over soon. Lets go check the small field for berries. First Sergeant Alarkis: Gone less than a day and your hair is out of regs, you're clothing is a mess. Whats going on? TheBeeze: I am home. This is what I look like at home Sergeant. IS there a problem? How did you find me? First Sergeant Alarkis: Calm down kid hahaha. I come with glad tidings. Your paperwork has come through for reassignment. I'm simply doing you the favor of delivering them. They are sealed and I have no idea where you're going, so unfortunately not with me. You're leave has been extended a week to prepare for your assignment. TheBeeze: Oh boy.... anything else you want to lay on me while I'm trying to forget work for the time being? First Sergeant Alarkis: You'll find your new uniform in the crate. May our paths cross again in the future, I shall be glad to see you. Until then, I wish you the best. TheBeeze: Thank you. We will see each other again. Feleia: What's in the box? SoNE Lah'mu by Jesse Beeze, on Flickr TheBeeze: Hmmmm. I wonder. Well, we'll worry about that later. Lets finish checking the field. **Later that day** TheBeeze: So how do I look? Feleia: Like you're going off to do something very dangerous. Cody Startale Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 I agree, that's marvelous. Great entry and compelling story, looks like we'll have to deal with Death Trooper squads soon... great job! Quote
VaderFan2187 Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 @Thebeeze111 that is awesome! I love how your character becomes a Death Trooper (on Lah'mu, of all places). Great story and lovely build! Is there any interior to the house? Quote

I'm hoping others will use shore troopers and the tank crews also. Expands the palette with our expanding list of planets. 4 hours ago, VaderFan2187 said: @Thebeeze111 that is awesome! I thought about the irony of that after the fact. I did do an interior on the house, but frankly it did not turn out how I wanted it to so I didn't bother to photograph it before deconstruction. Merc4Hire Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Most excellent representation! You nailed the atmosphere of Lah'mu. Terrain looks great and well balanced with variation in detail like the moisture vaporators, the tall grass and water bit. Shame we didn't get to see the interior of the house, looks great from the outside. Story was also nice, I especially liked how you are humanizing the stormtroopers by giving them loved ones and chatty banter. All in all, well done. Quote

Stormtroopers are human! Ignore the rebel propaganda Also I really need to get started on my build… Quote
8-Bit Ramen Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Fun. I love all of the detail. It just adds a ton to the atmosphere! The story is simple but good. Just a trooper coming home. Quote
ChiefPie Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Great story can't wait for the next part! Quote
Tariq j Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Really good work, the story is great and I love the look of Lah'mu you've captured Quote
MKJoshA Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Amazing representation of the planet! I instantly recognized it. And great story too! Quote
Cody Startale Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Is it on purpose that Feleia is laying on the ground in the background when Beeze gets up on the next day? Quote

TheBeeze Posted February 10, 2017 Author Posted February 10, 2017 You've never fallen asleep in a garden? Quote

Well you see, Feleia has a bit of a drinking problem... Amazing build, love the variation in the terrain and the small homestead feel to it all. Nice use of dialog to capture interest in the characters. Great work! Quote
Forresto Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Wow! Your stretch of Lah'mu looks spot on to Rogue One excellent job! Quote
goatman461 Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 I've been showing this build to friends as a great representation of Lah'mu. The black sand is perfect and the color saturation really helps the feel. I like the grills on the building, but some of the roof and greebling on the machinery looks a little sloppy to me. On the greebling, I think color blocking is very important so a few small changes would go a long way. Great job. Quote
