WarnIcarus Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I am only just coming out of my dark ages and I need some help finding the right pieces for a zombie infestation MOC. I've seen quite a few examples, but I don't know where any of the pieces came from. Please include links to bricklink pages of nice pieces if you would be so kind. Here are some references: Quote
Jipay Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Amazing MOCs ! Reminds me of that movie with tarantino and bruce willis. Planet terror or somethin. As for the pieces : dark vador, and the mumy from the egyptian johnny thunder sets would make a decent start for a zombie army Quote
Athos Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 There are a lot of pieces in those MOCs. What pieces are you looking for? If you are looking for zombie heads, these could work: Mandrakes (though they are expensive) Harry Potter Troll Burned Anakin Darth Vader (in multiple variations) Bib Fortuna (a severely underrated head, in my mind) Adventurers Mummy Steve Quote
Corpreal363 Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Why Do I See a Salt Shaker at the topright corner of the first pic? *wacko* Quote
Brickmaster Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Some great examples there from Keith Goldman ;-) Looking at the generous information Athos gave us; it would look the harry potter troll and the mandrake heads are your best bets - but if you want an army - it wont be cheap. :-$ Quote
iamded Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Ahaha. I see you've included Kieth Goldman's super-market MOC. That's my favourite one. :-D I think the best head would be the HP troll head. ~Peace Quote
RememberTheLittleGuy Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Really nice scenes. Reminds me of the movie with Will Smith in it, I Am Legend. 8-| Quote
WarnIcarus Posted January 24, 2008 Author Posted January 24, 2008 Thanks for your help Athos. Do you know wear I can find any faces that look like they are in the beginning stages of infection? The yellow figs in the supermarket MOC, plus any others are what I am talking about. Quote
AgentRick Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 (edited) I also request the source of this head, the one on the pirate body: It looks demonic and somewhat zombie-like >:-) . Edited January 24, 2008 by AgentRick57 Quote
Starwars4J Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Thanks for your help Athos. Do you know wear I can find any faces that look like they are in the beginning stages of infection? The yellow figs in the supermarket MOC, plus any others are what I am talking about. The only yellow heads in that pic I see are Palpatine and Voldemorte I also request the source of this head, the one on the pirate body:-snip- It looks demonic and somewhat zombie-like >:-) . Those were the heads from the Stingrays, an underwater faction opposing some incarnation of the Aquanauts Quote
WarnIcarus Posted January 24, 2008 Author Posted January 24, 2008 What set is this minifig from? Thanks Quote
Batbrick Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Those scenes are excellent! I think the new Orc head would be great use as a mutant head, but the best zombie head is definitely the HP Troll head, I only have one but its great. Batbrick Something! *wacko* Quote
Endigo Vandane Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 What set is this minifig from? Thanks It's not from any set. It's a custom minifig. Quote
Captain Ka-Boom Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Reminds of Shaun of The Dead (Dawn of The Dead spoof) They are pretty big scenes well done. Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 I think that the new troll head pieces from the 2008 castle line would make great zombies, myself! Quote
Batbrick Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 I think that the new troll head pieces from the 2008 castle line would make great zombies, myself! I think they would make better mutants actually, I plan to use them in my Interactive Apocalypse. Batbrick Something! *wacko* Quote
