CMF Series 18 guessing game!

So, now that it is LIKELY, NOT CONFIRMED from what I've heard, I'll update my list complete with all different suits since the series is rumoured to be a costume party:

1. Elephant suit girl

2. Lego brick suit guy

3. Sloth suit guy

4. Ice cream suit girl

5. Teddy bear suit guy

6. Broccoli suit guy

Costume party sounds interesting. I'm assuming like with the Monsters theme that this will be a broad interpretation of costumes, rather than just the 'animal' (and now food) ones that are a CMF subtheme though. And this will be a way of getting us figures and parts we might not normally get otherwise.

So he goes my stab

1. Dragon costume (seems a reuse of lizard head piece / tail and the gargoyle wings would be ideal)

2. Horse suit (recolour of unicorn head)

3. Lobster suit

4. Parrot suit (I feel the chicken feather arms are overdue a reuse)

5. Angel (I'm thinking kid in a nativity style costume is the way to get us this, opposite to li'l devil too)

6. Shepherd (as above, kid in nativity costume - hopefully with sheep or goat accessory)

7. Lego brick costume

8. Pizza suit

9. 'Zorro' costume 

10. 'Phantom of the opera' costume 

11. 'Carmen Miranda' carnival style costume (fruity headpiece, reuse chicken wings or different ornate arm piece)

12. Ladybird/ladybug costume

13. Fish costume 

14. Lion costume

15. 'Tin man' costume 

16. Elizabethan woman

Presuming it's a costume series, I'm thinking eighteen minifigs for the sake of equality, (Six per catogory)  but I'll do 16 so it's fair.

maybe they'll do a classic red brick suit in series 18 and a golden brick suit in series 20. Oops sorry just realized this is the guessing game

Makes sense, Lego has adapted the Minifigure series so:

2017 = series 17

2018 = series 18

And then they fill the gaps using licensed series. Series 20 = 2020 (I'm only speculating) which is also the 10th year of the CMF's

Yeah it would make sense to release series 20 in 2020 for the ten year anniversary .

Tbh I bet it'll be a few party costumes then the rest will be food and animals perhaps a small number of vehicles?

Maybe not all of them will be your typical "costume" Minifigure like a piece covering the whole body but more like a superhero costume, priest costume (won't happen just giving examples)

Spelling Correction

Here's my list keep in mind that they can be either gender or child or adult 

1.robot suit ( recolored S1robot ) 

2.tree suit ( it's coming) 

3.dog suit ( why hasn't this been done already? )

4.cat suit ( same reason as 3.)

5.gumball machine suit ( with the new bubble helmets in the ninja go movie it's possible)

6. Golden brick suit  ( because Lego knows everyone loves gold chrome....... Right? )

7. Fireworks suit ( this would be a bright idea . )

8.monster suit (something like an alien clinger on orcas mouth head with a lime green body and tentacles)

9.pickle suit ( I like pickles) 

10. Candy cane suit ( same as 9. )

11.ghost suit ( for Halloween of course)

12.knight suit ( somthing for the army builders ) 

13. Skunk suit ( with bottle of tomato juice)

14. Candy corn suit ( I'll leave it at that.)

15. Butterfly suit ( like S10 bee girl)

16.teddy bear suit

17. GRIFFIN SUIT. ( because the made a unicorn.)

The costumed characters are a fun novelty 1 or 2 at a time, but too much for a whole series.

Agreed. Costumed characters are nice as a one-off novelty figure in a regular series but are generally useless in terms of parts. It's a shame that this will count as a 'regular' series. Just stick to the usual mix - something for everyone.
