I'm A(veryold)FOL. My little bro and I started out playing with The Yellow Castle!!! My other favs were the Police sets.

I live in NY, about an hour NW of NYC. Originally grew up in SE PA, then lived in Western PA, then FL, then NJ...

I'm lucky enough to be a stay-at-home dad which affords me a bit of time to tool around with Lego during the day. My kids (youngest is 3) love them. Current favs are Bats and Castle sets. A little SW mixed in, but there are just soooo many sets, I stick with main characters and armies.

Glad to be here and I hope to learn some more about the hobby I love dearly.

Welcome to EB! Always glad to see a new member with an appreciation for classic 80's era sets like the ones I grew up with.

Who knew that having kids was the key to conquering the dark ages? If I ever start to drift into another, I'll have to give that some consideration ;-)

Please be sure to take a peek at the Big Billboard o' Doom at the end of my post and join us in some community discussions where we can get to know each other even better and enjoy your time with us, back in the warm embrace of the brick. *sweet*

Welcome to Eurobricks! You can't be that old... Afterall, friends of mine had the yellow castle... 8-|

Younger friends. :-P

Welcome to the forums, Dadster ;-) I enjoy your name, heh. I hope you find it welcoming, and you should fit right in :-$ - Hope to get to know you around the forums :-)

Welcome Dadster (neat name). Yellow Castle is the best! You can join our order. When you figure out what that means, I'll let you in on it ;-) . Have fun!

Hey, Dadster.

I'm new here myself...one of the great things I've already started to notice here is that nobody seems to care what age you are, as long as you love Lego.

Wow, it sounds corny to actually type that out...

...but welcome, from a fellow newcomer.

Hey and welcome!

Always good to add to the ranks!

God Bless,

Nathan

Wow! Thanks for the hearty welcome!

The Dadster (as some of you may have guessed...) is a take on the Brickster of old. ;-)

It seems like there are certainly some good days ahead in the world of Lego.

A couple of questions...

When can users get those lego flags and larger avatars?

Is there a donation area?

Thanks.
