Wow, I don't understand people. Conspiracy theorists are an odd bunch. Clearly, a few reviewers don't understand Bruce Wayne IS Batman, therefore only one man adopted Grayson. They're reading way too much into Dick(damn those cruel kids...) not knowing that Bruce is Batman the entire time.

What at do you guys think about this?

Note me to mods, I understand this may be a bit too close to the political topics we don't talk about here, but thought it okay.

What's even wrong with somebody being gay? I mean, Batman isn't but even if he was - so what?

Exactly, almost every film in history has heterosexual characters/relationships, suddenly this film apparently has homosexual ones and someone decides to throw their toys out of the pram and have a hissy fit over it?

I mean, there definitely IS gay subtext to the movie (particularly Robin's unequivocated enthusiasm for having "two dads" and Batman's adversarial relationship with Joker being treated more like a romantic one). It's no surprise that the same old moral guardians who complain about pretty much any other kids' movie that shows the barest hint of a non-traditional family would get upset about this one. That said, they're on the losing side of the culture wars, and after decades of similar objections in the face of social progress those kinds of complaints are really starting to lose their punch.

Some people will only be happy if we're all living in the 70s.

This is by far the second dumbest thing I've read all week. Right after a Walking Dead shirt with Negans barb bat, and the quote "Eenie Meenie Miney Moe" was pulled from shop, because the original saying is "catch a n***** by his toe", yet the one in the show is the vastly common "catch a tiger by his toe", and the bat backs up this saying by 'promoting violence towards people of different color'.

So long until Star Wars is blamed for brainwashing people to rebel against the government??

It honestly amazes me how little people know about what they do, what they write, etc. Like if you can't find anything else to write about, so you try to fearmonger parents into not letting their children watch a kids movie because... homosexual propaganda... then maybe you should just quit journalism whilst your ahead, keep your dignity, and... Go work in a supermarket checkout or something

People try and protest anything. That One Million Moms group tried to get that Muppet Show that was on a year ago banned because Kermit was nude. No, I'm not kidding on this.

Remember, there are people on the right-wing on EB as well. Saying stuff like that shows your intolerance for right-wing views as well.

But back to TLBM itself: from what I've seen, it seems okay, just a joke here and there. If a character was openly gay that'd be another discussion point, but I think these people are stretching it a bit too far...

This is crazy.  Just like the Walking Dead thing that Quicksilver mentioned above people are getting out of hand with all this complaining and whining about things that aren't worth it.  There are so many other problems this world needs to fix first.  I think people are just to sensitive now a days and cant take things or opinions for what they are.  Just like Vaderfan2187's comment above about right-wing people I mean its legodalekbusters opinion not everyone has to agree with everyone.  Why cant we just all get along.
