maiq the liar Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 That is a beautiful tram, but one problem...Why is there no-one in the cars? Quote
Hobbes Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I can hardly believe they did it without painting or stickers. The first one does have "stickers", the doors and the side of the windshield. Still a beautiful work. Quote

Legocastlegirl Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I visited my Legostore during my lunchbreak. It was really funny, the one saleswoman saw me, and told to her colleague "Could you please show her our new nice building". She really knew why i came in. Her colleague shown me the Green Grocer and what should i say? It Quote
Ickelpete Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I was in the Lego Shop Milton Keynes today and they have the Green Grocer set on display. I asked the assistant if they had them in stock but he said they could not sell them until the 1st of March. I tried to get him to sell me one early but he said no :-( I would have to come back on Saturday. I will have to wait till next time I am passing. PS it looks really great!! Quote

Think of us in countries with no Lego stores who will have to wait 2 weeks for it to ship when it is finally listed on S@H! Quote
jayber1974 Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 (edited) not to mention that that the price point in Australia will most likely be around AU$250.00 >:-( . With AU$1.00 buying US$0.90 at the moment it is seriously expensive this side of the world. and as we will only be able to buy it from S@H we will have to pay another AU$40.00 for shipping. That is a total of AU$290.00 or US$322.00 :'-( . Edit: AU$290= US$268.00 (still a lot) although that is a lot of money, I will still find a way to buy it! *y* Edited February 29, 2008 by jayber1974 Quote
brickzone Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 jayber1974: Actually the price for Australia is not too different to Europe then - here it's to be Quote
Holodoc Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Hmmm... there aren't any Lego shops in Germany near Hannover? I will be there next week. The next Lego stores are in Hamburg and Oberhausen. This is far from close to Hannover... But Hannover should have some "normal" toy stores. ;-) Quote
RocketMan Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 The next Lego stores are in Hamburg and Oberhausen. This is far from close to Hannover...But Hannover should have some "normal" toy stores. ;-) But those stores will not have the 10185 Green Grocer set, because it is an exclusive. I'm visiting a friend on Monday who lives about 10 kilometers from the CentrO in Oberhausen. Needless to say, I'll be getting the set in three days! Quote
brickzone Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Green Grocer is *now available* on Shop @ Home. It is Quote
Virar Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 (edited) Just ordered one off S@H. AU$150. $100 less than I thought it would be. Google tells me that's only EUR93 or USD$140. That just seems so wrong. Edited March 1, 2008 by Virar Quote
shaggy Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 (edited) I found it at Lego.com. Just ran a search for 10185...BUT it is available everywhere EXCEPT the U.S. To find it, just change the region in which you are shopping. Edited March 1, 2008 by shaggy Quote
