The set was already at the top notch in my book, now I need to make room for more notches, because it just moved up a few notches more.

I didn't fully expect an interior, but was crossing my fingers for one. Not only does this have an interior, but what an interior! A grandfather-clock! A proper old-style radiator! Mailboxes! And a fully stocked grocery-store!

@ Joebot; yes, it's just an apartment. But that's not a bad thing, is it? :-P

Absolutely not!! It's a great thing! It's been years since Lego designed some place for all their police officers and firemen to actually LIVE. :-P

No way!!!! I can't believe my eyes! Leave it to TLC to make an already perfect set even better! This surpasses CC in my book, but they'll still look great together!! :-)

OH MY GOD I AM SO EXCITED I SIMPLY MUST TYPE IN CAPS!

Seriously, WOW. TLC is gonna be getting even more of my money than I imagined. I literally squealed like a little girl when I saw those pictures. :-(

Ah well, it was worth the humiliation. X-D

These pics looks very good. The interior looks like it was made by an afol.

Inside grocer shop is terrffic. Radiator is great. Great clock is very nice. *y* *wub*

Now something like this in a smaller cheaper version for normal shops. :-)

Oh yes, it doesn't get any better than this. (it probally can get better, lets wait for 2009... :-P )

One con:

One of the windows is one like this. I was hoping it would also be a new mold. :-(

The rest is *wub* though.

Absolutely stunning. I'm in love!

It's the happy inbetween of the intricate design of CC and the nice interior detail of Town Plan.

God, I'm glad I'm an adult and can afford this stuff - if I was a kid looking at these kinds of sets and having to wait for Xmas or birthdays (if then) I think I'd probably explode. Or run away to Denmark.

Nuts, you're right. I was hoping for a new 2x3x1 window mold, but I'll let the awesomeness of the rest of the set drown out any disappointment. :-)

If this has already been discussed, I'm sorry if I missed it, but can anyone tell how the black railing on the roof is done? (I've looked at it so long, my eyes are going buggy) It looks to me like a row of black skeleton legs with a bar running the length of the roof. I can't figure out what the star-like "details" are, though.

Well, I don't know exactly but what I do know is that those are not skeleton legs, probably some clever cone/round-plate construction.

We can always relate to the parts list placed on Flickr by Paksu79 as mentioned in this thread. It shows no sign of skeletonlegs....

Thanks whung for the extra pictures.

I was ready to buy this set based on the first lot of pictures from Kanal-K1. I did not expect an interior! *wub* This has become a must for me. *y*

Thanks, I forgot about those pics, although that doesn't seem to be a complete part list. (It doesn't include windows, doors or bananas -- that's the most obvious I could pick out)

At any rate, now I have a new idea to use skeleton legs in my mocs! *sweet*

The windows and doors are new parts, maybe that's why they weren't on the spare parts list... The list also lacks the green base plates, and the carrots.

What I find most strange when I look at the spare parts now, is where did all the sand green come from?

Nevertheless, what a set! *wub* My Cafe Corner just found a new best friend! Now release it already!

They look like skeleton legs to me too. Is the parts list definitely definitive?

The "stars" may be those clip-bar parts (you know, the exoforce robot hands) clipped onto the railing.

It is skeleton legs... but the "bar" is this Minifig mallet (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4522) which gives you the "star-like" details you mention.

What a great surprise, some interior furnitures!

It lakes an open back to see all those details, without remooving the different levels...

By the way, It's really a must have set!
