Posted March 14, 20177 yr Yeah i know, the huge Amount of TLBM themed Moc`s might be a bit overwhelming (why is everyone overwhelmed, how about just whelmed...) but isn`t it just great when a single Movie inspires so many creative Minds. Without further ado, here is my Take on the Police Cruisers from the Lego Batman Movie. I got the Idea when someone posted a Screenshot of an Advertisement from Target for the TLBM Sets. This one,to be precise (Image was cropped to remove unnessesary Stuff) TLBM-Police Car-6 I really liked the Car and i thought "Hey,that doesn`t look too hard to make". So i saved this Image and looked through various Trailers and short Spots to get a Glimpse of how the Car looked from Behind and how the Undercarriage was made.Needless to say there weren`t many high Quality Sources so i started to guess here and there. My first Design with the Digital Designer looked pretty okay... TLBM-Police Car-1 So i made a Partslist and started building after my Bricklink Order arrived. 20170311_184610 20170311_184622 20170311_184630 20170311_184654 20170311_184704 20170311_184722 20170311_184738 20170311_184829 20170311_184840 Of course i changed the Color from Sandblue to Black, since most Parts are much easier to get in that Color.I also had a few Police Stickers from Lego City Sets lying around to add additional Details. So,how do you like my Version of the Police Cruiser? P.S. I won`t add a huge Speaker on the Roof :D
March 14, 20177 yr Your police car is fantastic! Great job! I wish LEGO sold one just like it for their Batman sets!
March 14, 20177 yr This is awesome! Any chance of making an LDD file available for download? My son would go nuts for this.

Or at least as a separate Set.I`m sure they would sell out faster than Batman could say "I hate Superman!" I`m also happy to see that everyone enjoys the Design. To extend this enjoying,i decided to upload the LDD File. Can`t wait to see what you Guys are up to with this Model. Get the LDD File here.
May 14, 20177 yr A fan of the TLBM and love this car, and nice reference to a show that is getting a season three. Will definitely build one.
May 14, 20177 yr Fabulous work, looks very accurate to the image. Love the added interior details that you included... Now you need to get your hands on the new Bane bigfig in order to recreate the original shot :)

When i get my Hands on the Bane Set,this will be one of my first Things i will do...maybe Bane and Killer Croc playing "catch the Policecar"
June 28, 20177 yr Looks awesome, I want to build my own. If you could upload a pdf/jpeg/jpg file of partslist, that would be very helpful. Thanks!
November 27, 20177 yr Good job, I'm working on one myself and using yours for reference as well as the movie. Not sure if you are going for complete screen accuracy but I did notice the front and rear bumpers actually have 1x2 curved slopes on either side of the license plates. You can see this at 58:20 (I think) where the car gets tipped over. And tiles for the headlights. Anyway I love these vehicles, they are different and perfect for the Batman Movie. I am hoping I can make the cab next. Lastly, for anyone living in North America wanting to make this police car, I found the only place to get those exact wheel and tire assemblies is from European countries. November 28, 20177 yr I just found out they don't make the trunk panels or hinges in medium blue, hence why you went with black. So I'll either have to make it in white or make it without hinges so I can still use that color.
November 29, 20177 yr Author Sorry for the late Reply everyone. For everyone who´s interested,i uploaded the LDD File of the 8 wide Police Cruiser in a Lego Group on Facebook, the direct Link to the File is below: Grab the LDD File here...
