snefroe Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 it seems the pharaoh is giving some people nightmares, so i'll change my sigfig to this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=bb001 it's the minifig of my oldest building book and i have very good memories of that. besides, this guy flew back in time, visited lords and knights, he built a spaceship and flew into space, saw the weirdest creatures and astronauts... surely that experience must be helpfull in solving murders... :P if you please, J
clecle Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 It depends of what mr bloody jay have in term of classy girls outfits to replace the pirate one ? ;)
clecle Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 As for the hair piece, a brown pony tail would make it, otherwise a normal long haired piece
The Middleman Posted May 30, 2005 Author Posted May 30, 2005 As far as torsos go, I have this, this, this, this, and this (couldn't resist :-D). I also have the assorted Adventurers female torsos (no Orient Expedition, though) and the assorted Alpha Team female torsos (minus Deep Freeze). Also, could you give me an example of which hair you want? I don't know whether you mean Hermione hair or the other one. Oh, and I also have this. Forgot to check Studios.
chewie Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 can i please ask what exactly this is for?..or whats going on
Mr. Lego-builder Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 Sorry if you missed out chewie, but remember this: Eurobricks CLUES Contest? Well, courtesy of The Brickster and Bloody Jay, we are just making our characters out of LEGO minifigures to explore the murder mystery mansion. I'm sorry if you wanted to join us, but, the contest sign ups are now CLOSED... >-|
chewie Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 nope i missed out on the contest but thats ok..it still looks really cool
clecle Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 let's go for the second one. As for the hairpiece hermione's ones would make it nicely :)
Mr. Lego-builder Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 Sorry you missed it, but you can always follow the mystery! Any mystery that TheBrickster comes up with is gaurenteed to be interesting. But, one restriction though, there is no non-participant posting allowed in this mystery.
chewie Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 ok thanks for the heads up im gonna try and get into the next mystery when ever it is
The Middleman Posted May 30, 2005 Author Posted May 30, 2005 it seems the pharaoh is giving some people nightmares, so i'll change my sigfig to this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=bb001it's the minifig of my oldest building book and i have very good memories of that. besides, this guy flew back in time, visited lords and knights, he built a spaceship and flew into space, saw the weirdest creatures and astronauts... surely that experience must be helpfull in solving murders... :P if you please, J Ah, I don't have that particular striped shirt. If you want to keep the Pharoh's shirt, that's ok, but I think the headdress is a little silly.
WesternOutlaw Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 Chewie, you can definately be in the next mystery (if and when we do one). This is similar to the Murder on Lego Express mystery but is called CLUES. 12 participants will be entering the old mansion to discover clues that relate to the mystery "whodunit". Eurobricks is even providing small minis to the winners. Bloody Jay is designing a special project to illustrate the story and each character is deciding what their character looks like (in this post). He is building the figs and we'll be using them as avatars. We needed to limit the participants to 12 based on the story. This is a new concept, but I think it will be fun. You can most definately follow along, but as Mr. Lego Builder has indicated, no participation from those watching "outside the mansion". Take care. Brickster.

The Middleman Posted May 30, 2005 Author Posted May 30, 2005 That'll do, snefroe! Now all we need is Akkhraziel. If he doesn't respond within a day, he'll probably be booted from the running.
Mr. Lego-builder Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 But don't we need Darth Ewok too? Or has he communicated with you in some other way? -------------------- I have another question. Do we need everyone's "profile" provided to Brickster in order to begin the mystery? (He is still missing some of those, isn't he?)
Mr. Lego-builder Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 Good! Give us another preview soon if you don't mind Bloody Jay. (I wonder what Darth Ewok's sigfig looks like...) THE MYSTERY CAN SOON BEGIN!!
WesternOutlaw Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 I still need character info from Akkhraziel, Sarg Kulo, and Snefroe. Please respond to the PMs sent to you asking for answers to just a few questions. Otherwise, I make it up.
Mr. Lego-builder Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 That'll do, snefroe! Now all we need is Akkhraziel. If he doesn't respond within a day, he'll probably be booted from the running. Any news on Akkhraziel? It seems like he is starting to delay the starting of the mystery. :/ (Not that I mind too much, because final exams are coming up in school, but I will have less time to spend on this forum... :'( )
Darth_Ewok Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 I really didn't know what to do for my sigfig (after bloody jay said I couldn't be an ewok ;) ) so I made it look kind of like me, I like it though
Mr. Lego-builder Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 "Like you"? We don't know what you actually look like! :D Or do you just don't want to say, so it could be a surprise? BTW, have you heard of Akkhraziel by any chance? We need him to start!
The Middleman Posted June 1, 2005 Author Posted June 1, 2005 His last post was on the 19th. Maybe Brickster will replace him.
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 Do you mean that Brickster will replace him as a another ficticious character or will he actually be one of the participants? (But then again, he already knows the whole story line...)
WesternOutlaw Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 We won't delay the mystery for him or Sarg Kulo if; when we get ready to start, they haven't provided their character information or sigfig/costumes. I'm still doing some writing and Bloody Jay is diligently working on building his "special project". After this, we'll be starting, and if at this point, we haven't heard from them, we'll continue without them with just 10 participants. I will unfortunately be out of town on June 13-24 without computer access. Will have to place the mystery on hold during this time. Bloody Jay has something in mind to keep you a little occupied while I'm out.
Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 You guys sure make a great team! And I hope it won't get too boring without you, Brickster. ;)
