I recently bought parisian restaurant and now i can t decide which lego train -60098 heavy haul train or second 10233 horizon express

please help me  to pick the best

The Horizen Express is based on the TGV, a very fast french train, so that fits better with the parisian restaurant :-)

Oh yes, i would definetely buy a second set.. it does look so much more appealing, and meets the detail-level of the Parisian Restaurant much better!

This one is actually with another two extra coaches...

So i should buy second horizon express ?

If you want to. They are both good trains. You have to make the final decision.

the Horizon Express is retired, and as such, its price will only go up with the passing of time. The cargo train is not yet retired, and most likely you will be able to find it at a hefty discount (somewhere around 120-130€). I would buy the second Horizon Express.

I think you should also buy a Metroliner and a Cafe Corner.

And paint your front door yellow.

And eat more chocolate.

Buy a 2nd HE. You can still get one for less the MSRP of the Heavy Haul.  Bricklink average price is about $170.0.

If course you will need to invest in power supply if you intend to operate it which will drive the price up some. As a note, one PF motor will easily pull a double HE.

As others have said, a double HE looks great. It is, by far, the train that gets most of the comments at the shows I go to.

Here is an old photo of both the HE and the PC.
