Yooha Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 There are no solid rules for the length of one round. They are usually longer on weekends. Itaria has a life, I guess. Quote

Robert8 Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Also, Goblin and Fortune Teller are tied. We need more votes Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted June 4, 2017 Author Posted June 4, 2017 FORTUNE TELLER and HAZMAT win. I was in ASCOLI PICENO (ITALY) for a LEGOfest as I am one of the heads of one of the biggest italian lugs... so sorry for your wait, I was LEGO-minded nevertheless. Next round in 15 minutes. Quote
1Panda Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Are we absolutely sure that the goblin lost? Was there a recount? Any ways I voted for Spartan and Elf. Quote

Yes, and considering that it is one of my top 5 figures, it wasn't lighthearted for me... Here I voted for Spartan and Tiki. To me Elf Girl is a big disappointement. The concept was excellent, the final minifigure quite average. I would have had her in a fighting attire, not that dress, and with an elven blade, not that very common sword and that useless shield. And without her hair ornament. A fighter doesn't fight with hair ornaments. I think the overall minifigure is vaguely sexist. Quote
Borex Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 (edited) I think i saw once a pic with a goblin army, didn't i? @Itaria No Shintaku Last round must have hurt. Anyway this round has nothing of interest for me, so i voted for best parts i guess. Edited June 4, 2017 by Borex Quote

Yes I have a hundred of that guys. But that's not my favourite minifigure, even if I admit he was in the top spots. Like the series 7 knight and the series 14 gargoyle after all, and they are already out. I chose 64 minifigures that I would have liked to go on after stage 1. Out of 64, 34 qualified, so I'm happy because I'm over 50%. Let's see if some of these 34 go over stage 2 too. Quote

I agree I think if she would have been called " elf princess " or " elf queen " and included a harp or something as an accessory instead of the tiny shield and that -nice -but -you -only -need -one -of -sword, I wouldn't have a problem with that , however, I was actually kinda hoping for a female version of the original elf i still like it of course as a princess but now that you mention it I should have voted for the tiki guy. I don't like the slope pieces as dresses (the height is wrong) and her weaponry looks off. Quote

SirBlake Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Man, I have to disagree. Elf Girl is one of my favorites. The hair piece is great and I love the printed shoulder armor and the use of metallics. I think she works in a very LOTR way, like a Galadriel/Arwen mix. Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted June 5, 2017 Author Posted June 5, 2017 SPARTAN and TIKI WARRIOR win. Next round ready in 15 minutes. Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 The Batman figures are underrated. I also think the Cyclops is by far superior to the chef, but to each his own. Quote
Littleworlds Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Seems I'm completely with the majority today. Gourmet Chef, Shakespeare and the Beefeater were my favs too. Quote
1Panda Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I know everyone will hate me for saying this but Shakespeare is so lame mostly because he's an updated, recolored version of series 8 Shakespeare guy and the series 8 Shakespeare guy is a cheap knock off of the Lego movie Shakespeare, so l voted for batman. And cyclops had better win this since he's the only decent minifigure from series 9 that made it to the second round. (In my opinion of course) Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted June 5, 2017 Author Posted June 5, 2017 I really can't understand this love for the gourmet chef, but ok. And shakespeare is brilliant to me. Quote

I agree on the sentiment regarding the S6 Toy Robot, though. I have seen many ordinary minifigs, like the Highlander, which made it to round 2, while the superior Toy Robot did not. Oh well, such is the elimination system. In the end only one figure will win, and I doubt it would be either of the Batmen or the Highlander either way. Quote

Toy Robot came up against the Yeti, which voters decided was a better loved character. The Highlander must have something going for him with voters here, he beat both the shark suit guy and the rocket suit guy in his round. Quote
