JamesJT Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Here is my Fiat 500 Abarth. Just like the real car it has the motor hanging out the back. It uses V2, LiPO, servo and a buggy motor. It is 450g It uses a direct drive from the fastest buggy motor output, no diff and plenty of positive castor. It has a tiny turning circle and will over steer. Video coming soon. Quote
VKTechnic Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Looks good and quite cute, can't wait to see the video Quote
TechnicRCRacer Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Nice car! I like the micro size and the detail in this build! It looks very fast! Quote
Victor Imaginator Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 With given size 2 buggy motors should launch this car to fly) I love the bodywork. Panels for front hood fits perfect. Quote
Jurss Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Nice litl thing. Maybe for traction put wider tires on the rear. With these tires it should drift pretty weel. Quote
rm8 Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 This is really the beast. Hope it will drive good with IR v2 receiver. Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Excellent mini car! It looks great, and I am sure it will perform well, definitely looks like a drifting car. Quote

msk6003 Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Looks good. It can drift? Offtopic question. I want build your catham 7. but can't find lxf file. can you give me some link? Quote
Sylvian Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Honestly, i terms of shape and proportions, it feels like it 'leans' a bit forward. Other than that its a great little build! Quote

I had to put some rake on the chassis to stop the buggy motor hitting the ground. I made a standard model with a narrow track, AAA battery box, V1 IR, servo, 1x M motor and a diff but no castor and no rake. It is slow but more fun to drive as I don't crash so often.
