Agree with everyone, I think we get at least one maybe two location based sets. Definitely Achto and Canto Bight and then probably a Ski speeder from Crait. A bomber or awing is also possible.

Achto would give us Resistance Rey and Luke and some porgs while Canto Bight could give us DJ and Fathier.

Is it possible the Elite Praetorian Guards, Executioner stormtroopers, and/or Ren knights may be in the 2 TLJ battlepacks?

Is it still possible to get any Battlefront 2 sets next year? Possibly an Inferno Squad battlepack or even the Imperial corvette from the campaign? Are there any extra gaps for anything like this? I highly doubt it, but I still have some hope. Rebellions are built on hope

The speeder has been 'confirmed' by Stash. (have a look at the first page of the 2017 thread, set 75204 which will be released in december)

I think you're right, but do we have any definitive knowledge of what the Sandspeeder is?  The Crait skimmers were technically flying above salt flats, not sand (and it looked like snow in the trailer, so who knows?  ).

Granted, I can't think of any other "Sandspeeder" there could be, but we don't yet have the full picture of The Last Jedi--the movie, I mean

This is mainly speculation using some canon facts, but I'm 99.9% sure there's a variant of T-47 Airspeeder called the Sandspeeder, which is basically an Airspeeder which is specialised for more desert-like, hot environments, like how the Snowspeeder is more specialised for cold, snowy environments.

With that, if this is indeed a TLJ set, then perhaps we'll see a return of the T-47's on Crait alongside the Skimmers - I mean, it makes sense, since I imagine the tow-cable takedowns will still be an effective method when dealing with the FO Walkers, and we aren't quite sure what the Skimmers are actually capable of in terms of combat, especially against Walkers, and I don't think there was any suggestion in canon that the Rebellion stopped using the T-47's, so I think that the Resistance could continue that trend and have a new, specialised variant of Airspeeder for what seems to be the harsh, desert environment of Crait.

Obviously this is pure speculation, really, but if this 'Sandspeeder' is supposedly not the Crait Skimmer, then I think this could be what it is.

Actually, the Rebels had problems to use the Snowspeeder on Hoth because of the cold.

They are known "snowspeeders" because of the movie, but they are just airspeeders.

Airspeeders, but with some heavy weaponry tacked on.  ;)
I probably shouldn't speculate any further about what the Sandspeeder is, but I think I remember reading something (not sure where) that the Heavy Assault Walker in TLJ has massive and reinforced front legs so that they are not vulnerable to the old tow cable trick.

As for the other sets confirmed by Sir von Lego, I have yet to comment:

Yoda's Hut is a must-buy, even though I'm only collecting Rogue One-related stuff at the moment.  I don't have the new Yoda yet, and I have never had the old Dagobah Luke.  Both figures are likely to be totally new, anyway, and I'm crossing my fingers for a mud-splatter print for R2!

The rest I will probably pass on, except for the new TLJ battlepacks, if they are released in January.  I'm looking forward to the Han Solo sets, mainly because even if the movie is terrible, it could still be our last chance to get a whole wave of OT-era sets for a while.

There's always room for Battle Packs. If we think about it, there's already a winter wave with a random assortment of film/show sets, and someone mentioned a small wave for the Han Solo film in late winter. That leaves us with a summer, fall, and potentially another winter wave before Episode IX which gives us plenty of opportunity to get sets from every film/show/game so far.

I really hope they're not done with it. There's quite a few sets they could make from Rebels season 3. The Nightbrother ship Maul has would be a good choice, which would offer a chance for a Season 3 version of Maul. Plenty of options.

Hello, what have we here? That's awesome! The Jedi are awesome, but what's even better... that Clone in the back has a proper gun! A PROPER GUN! Could we finally be seeing stud guns on their way out in Battle Packs so we can have proper moulded blasters again? I hope so. Thanks as always for the info, SVL.

From the brief glimpse I got of the photo before it was taken down, it was 2 RotS Clone Troopers (no deco that I can remember?), Ki Adi Mundi, and Coleman Trebor I think? Nothing looked like a new sculpt to me. Clone trooper was riding on a speeder that looked inspired by the gunship. Early rendering, not final.

Edit: Although, that doesn't entirely make sense, since Coleman Trebor was killed in the Battle of Geonosis, before the advent of the second Clone Trooper design. So either my memory of the photo is faulty or Coleman is a placeholder, or it's just not movie-accurate.

As a quick question, @Sir von Lego , since you're a pretty reliable source for this sort of thing: are you aware of/able to confirm the set number of the purported Darth Maul buildable figure? Is it safe to assume that it will be 75535?

Except the Solo movie is set 10 years prior to the OT, so there may be some variations on what's considered OT (for example variant imperial uniforms/tech etc).

Given a UCS Falcon seems imminent, it would not surprise me if a new version of Jabba's Palace is the biggest set in the HS line, given the last version we got came out in 2012.
