That would just be incredible, and would create the possibility of a Nabrun Leids figure in the future - possibly my most desired figure :)) It looks like there on his back to me. Also that ship looks like light stone grey to me. Quote
dvogon Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) It's a bit funny, but for those who actually got Assault on Hoth - 75098 (me included), the medical room is a welcome addition. It's actually much better than the minimal interior of that UCS? set and way bigger! These versions of Luke, Leia and the medical droid should have been in the 75098 set instead of other stuff. And for those like me who hadn't the old Hoth sets, the 75098 was a way to catch up on that front. I would have put the medical room in the 75098 set and release a Wampa cave as a small set now instead, which didn't belong to the Echo base anyway. It would have more sense, as the medical room as such has less playability value. It has some similarities in its design to the new Jurassic World sets, but at least the last ones have dinosaurs to play with. So maybe Lego is trying to "patch" the 75098 set after all...Let's hope they will release soon some Imperial stuff to do the actual assault!! Edited May 19, 2018 by dvogon Quote
CF Mitch Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 The Imperial Landing Craft is a cool suprise! But I'm not sure I like it. It'd be great to have an updated one next to my Lambda Class shuttle, but the ILC looks... off Those protruding side-pieces should be longer (just like the fuselage in general) and not as thick, if I remember correctly. The sandtroopers are a nice and welcome addition, though. I like the Hoth Medical Centre, however. I feel it could be used as a generic medical bay too, so I think I'll definitely get that! Regards, Mitch Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 Imperial Hauler looks really good, I just don't like this brown standie at the bottom, it looks like it's made of wood, and ships usually aren't made of wood. Rio Durant looks so cool, I'm interested to see which technique did they use to make him have 4 arms. Quote

sn0wmana Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) I've been very impressed with LEGO's output for Star Wars this year. A nice variety of builds with all eras being represented well. The Throne Room set has a nice design but is small for its $70 price tag. Gotta agree that its price per piece ratio compared to that of the Death Star Final Duel set from 2015 makes it seem like an especially terrible value. Of course, LEGO knows its minfig selection (despite having only one new mold) will be the major draw and is probably the sole reason for its high price. Definitely still worth it to me, though. I'm also happily surprised by The Hoth Medical Chamber! It's a nice, detailed build that captures the look and feel of the scene from ESB well. I love that LEGO has been putting out some cool playsets this year (Ahch-To Training, Cantina, Yoda's Hut, etc). A lot of these end up being my favorite kind of system scale sets. The Imperial Hauler is cool but I hope that was not mistaken for the V-19 in the rumors. I would be quite disappointed if that and the Resistance Transport aren't happening. Ohh, that brown bit is the part I like most about it! Not sure if it's wood - best guess would be that the brown is meant to be rust? Or filth over the metal? There's some of it on the wings, too. I relish a chance to expand the Imperial display with a bit of different color: the white of an Imperial shuttle or the black of Krennic's shuttle, etc can really pop on a shelf next to all the rest of that Medium Stone Grey. Agree that wood + metal =/= Star Wars-y look and feel. 8 hours ago, Sneakguest said: Probably as soon as the Solo movie is in public theathres Nice! Less than a week to go, then... Magmafrost Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 (edited) Not sure where people are getting the idea that the Imperial Hauler is white. Looks pretty LBG to me. Renown Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 I am intrigued as to how 75215, 75217 and 75219 will incorporate the known Solo characters that are yet to be released in minifigure form. The leaked images suggest that Enfys Nest and Warwick Davis' character will be in 75215, and the recently surfaced image of 75219 seems to show Rio Durant is in with the Imperial Hauler. There is also the leaked Beckett figure which could theoretically feature in any of the three. At the moment we are yet to receive confirmation as to which sets the following characters will appear in, or if they will be featured in any of the three at all: Val, L3-37, Dryden Vos, and some Rangetroopers and Mudtroopers. It would seem logical to assume that the Rangetroopers will be featured in the Conveyex Heist set, but I struggle to see where Val and L3-37 will come into this wave. From what the trailers suggest, Dryden Vos in particular would not seem to fit into any of the known Solo sets coming. I'm also interested by that rumour of a small Mimban playset in which Chewbacca featured with handcuffs with an Imperial Officer and a Mudtrooper. One of the recent images to surface of 75220 depicts the RA-7 protocol droid with a muddy torso that was arguably misplaced on that figure - if 75215, 75217 and 75219 are assumed to focus on the scene(s) that take place on Vandor-1 - a snowy planet, while Mimban is swampy - during the Conveyex Heist, does this add weight to the possibility that this playset is on its way as well? PicnicBasketSam Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 I absolutely love the new X-Wing design and it's probably the best Star Wars set of the year. Maybe it's just me but I think it looks even better than the UCS one or either Sequel Trilogy version. The Jedi Starfighter looks really good too and I'll probably get it first because it's actually cheaper than every other recent Jedi Starfighter (of either variety) that LEGO has made, while also being the best-designed one of them. Sir von Lego has said that both the Troop Transport and the V-19 are coming so I'm not sure that is the case; as it is, there are many discrepancies between the original leakers description of these sets and the Hauler and Shuttle which mean I don't think they could be confused for each other if the leaker really was truthful. Nevertheless, @Sir von Lego could you tell us if the Hauler or Sentinel Shuttle are what you took to be the V-19? Edited May 20, 2018 by BacktoBricks Quote
ToaDraco Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 (edited) I'm really digging the Imperial Hauler. I love that the front looks like an AT-DP and brown really helps to break up the grey color scheme. Plus I'm happy it comes with Rio Durant. I always like seeing more alien creatures and characters in Star Wars. I'm intrigued to see how they did the 4 arms and why they haven't done something similar in the past as that's pretty perfect without stretching out the figure's torso or forcing the arms to protrude from unnatural places like the Outriders from the Infinity War sets. 7 hours ago, SuperSith said: Are Rio Durant’s extra arms made using these pieces? I think you might be right on the money, that seems like a great set up and I really, really wish that they had used this for the Outriders. Edited May 20, 2018 by ToaDraco Quote

Not to be confused with the Lambda. It looks a bit sloppy the way those curved bay doors don't line up on 75221. Are they are trying to hide a play function or design feature that wasn't worth it? I suppose it's fixable. Big gap behind the cockpit too. Wonder how ambitious the interior is. If anyone knows of somewhere to see the interior pics... I'd be grateful. Oh yeah. I'm still holding out hope of a system Artiquiens class cruiser with Governor Pryce, Admiral Constantine and why not throw in a Saw Guerra for good measure. Then we'd have a Merry Christmas. That Obi-Wan... I didn't even notice him! WTF... I'm tempted to overthink his inclusion but it's probably just laziness.
