Attachments -- and how to delete them

you have to remove the image from the post itself as well 

I see at least 2 images uploaded to Eurobricks.com still in your post.

Of course, if it's really bugged, Im just trying to help based on what I did to remove an attachment from my account yesterday. (my attachment storage went from 9% to 0% used)

I guess it's just the way it's going to be...at some point I'll just delete the message altogether.

The first two images come from links to Flickr.  The second two images are attachments.  I edit the file.  Delete the second two images from the message.  Delete the two images in the attachment window.  Select edit topic and...yep, they are still there.  Not gonna worry about it any more.

I accidentally posted a picture as attachment instead of posting the link. Can you please delete the attachment @forum staff

(Not the first time i make this mistake. Had to delete complete threads i set up / opening posts to get rid of those accidental attachments in the past.)

Wouldn't it be an idea if the administrator disables allowing to upload pictures and only allows to post links to them?
That should be possible in a forum's admin settings.
