Posted January 31, 200817 yr (NOTE: This is not a contest, that is the name of the song in the play. ;-) ) Salutations! I've actually been meaning to build this for a long time, but it only took off recently. This is Pirelli's Miracle Elixir Wagon, from the song "Pirelli's Miracle Elixir" and "The Contest" from Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Yeah, I enjoy the play/movie. But this is by far the funniest scene, when Adolfo Pirelli and Sweeney Todd face off one-on-one. (Elixir Bottles not included [because I couldn't find them in my containers :-D ) I made the decals on photoshop, and printed them on transparent paper (the same kind for overhead projectors) You can probably find the scene on Youtube somewhere. ;-) Thanks ~ feedback's is always appreciated! :-)
February 1, 200817 yr Contest?!!!!! Don't you know that we schedule contests now?!!!!! >:-( I'm close this and then I'll.....!!!!!! OK, so I'm not as funny as I think I am. :-$ Back to the MOC, it looks really beautiful and the decals work great, but I can't say much else as I haven't seen the movie. You're doing a good job of promoting Sweeney Todd. :-D

February 1, 200817 yr Possible spoilers:Here, I found the scene on youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=8vVXOtyjNbQ Your MOC is very true to the movie. The decals are great, and I love the way you've done the curtains. Is there a reason why Pirelli have a Republic pilot torso instead of the decal you used for him the last time? Great work as always, Sir Nadroj *wub*
February 1, 200817 yr Beautiful MOC *wub* Very accurate decals and interesting techniques for the wagon *y* Italian barbers ON :-P ! LuxorV
February 2, 200817 yr Bravissimo! What a fantastic MOC!!! I bow down to someone who's skills are greater than mine. I love the Toby fig, he looks so...abused X-D One question though, why is the chair only 3 studs wide *wacko* , only a very thin mifig can sit there, but other than that...wow 8-
February 2, 200817 yr Author Thanks guys! Is there a reason why Pirelli have a Republic pilot torso instead of the decal you used for him the last time? It's actually a Bespin Guard. :-P But techinicalities aside, that was my origianl Pirelli before Norrington's fabulous decal, but I wanted to go back to it. I switch them around, just to have it different in different MOCs if that makes sense. ;-) Bravissimo! What a fantastic MOC!!! I bow down to someone who's skills are greater than mine. February 3, 200817 yr SN: This is truly outstanding. A snake oil wagon! It's really neat to see another individual designing one in Lego. I wish BrickMiner was here to see it. He was always a fan of Snake Oil. I really like how you added the custom stickers. The font is excellent. I also like the platform with your custom figs. And lastly, the design of the wagon looks really slick. I like the little details like the lantern. Overall, this is a great little MOC. Makes me want to build another one. Here's a shot of my WW Snake Oil Wagon from last year: Now I shall try YouTubing the scene.
February 5, 200817 yr Norrington's fabulous decal Thank you, good sir. This is a truely incredible MOC. Is there any interior? Is there a detailed back side? Does it have wheels? Can lego horses pull that thing? I'd love to see. May the good Lord smile upon you.
February 6, 200817 yr Ah, this scene was my favourite! Buy Pirelli's Miracle Elixir That's what did the trick sir! True, sir, true. Great moc. I like your choice of face!

No inertior, except for the curtains. No detailed back side ~ I didn't have reference of the back. :-$ There are wheels. They may seem concealed behind the stage. I guess a horse or two could pull it, if I wanted them to. ;-)
