My vote goes to Mr. Brickster, the rich atmosphere is a very authentic rendition of a truly classic historical film.

007's is unique and nicely detailed. I'm going to have to steal some of the ideas in it for my own MOCs.

Thank you, Athos, do you plan on making some city MOCs of your own or will you integrate the aforementioned techniques in your typical historical creation?

Thanks Pig!

I voted for Sinner as I though it was very creative and well built, I absolutely loved the idea of the "house boat". :-)

I liked it better as a party ship though. :-D

Thanks! *sweet* One vote for me! X-D

I liked it better as a party ship though. :-D

It doesn't float anymore, the balcony and front door ruined that. :-D That's why the party moved to 007's tugboat. :-|

Hinckley, can you tell us the deadline for the official vote?

I need some time for reflexion (2-3 days)... because there are a lot of entries and some are really nice!

Congrat to all of the contestors, who make this poll so hard for the choice! :-D

I voted for Brainbox's residence. The outside seems rather plain, but the inside is really detailed and made with a lot of attention to small details, just like most real houses.

Great contest again!

Jeez, just broke my head over the ships...now this...

First of all great entries everyone, sorry i didn't enter, just couldn't make it...

My vote goes to Johnny war, gotta love a villa wih a pool *wub*

Good luck to all! *y*

I think everyone that entered should get votes, so I picked between the ones without a vote yet, so it goes to Lord Of Pies! Why, not sure, I think it may be the bow tie and suspenders :)

Again, good work to all.

I'm glad so many people entered. Great contest. Tough to make a choice among the top 5-6 votegetters. All are worthy and I am glad we have prizes for them, one way or the other.

Good work, everyone.

I voted for LuxorV.

Why? There are some bigger, fancier ones, but for some reason this one seems the most... "live-able". Especially the skylights- I used to have some of these windows and I can really relate to that.

Will, who just made his "entry" an hour ago. :-|

Thanks, Mr. Mandalorian (Will ;-) ).

I really like skylights, too, even if they may be difficult to operate :-P

I thought all the houses were good, but still, I voted for Sinner because you just can't beat the ingenuity of a Walrus with a... Boat that is a house... and still not a houseboat 8-| .

Great ideas!

Several good once.

I like plain genius things. lots of details and greatly built.

Even if big models are very nice, I prefer the smaller once.

Therefore I voted on 007.

Plus I was on the ship ;-)

Bribe On!

I won't say who I voted for because I truly think all of the entries are awesome. And a big congratulations to the few members who joined to post entries with their first post! Thanks for entering and welcome to our community.

That being said, I'm glad to see Alex doing well. I hear often people complain, that the biggest entries always win and Alex's clever and fun entry is proving that wrong. Nice job. In addition to Alex's, I also considered voting for:

  • 007-This is one of the most stunning LEGO boats I've ever seen. Far better than official LEGO versions. On par with some of our best Pirate ship builders. Awesome.
  • TheBrickster-It's nice to see something so detailed from you. Your MOCs are always creative but this is outside your "Grave Stone" official LEGO set size MOC. It's so much fun and really well done.
  • AL FREDDO-Simply a work of art
  • Hennig Birkeland-I love this and I think it's terribly under-rated right now. Beautiful job.
  • Oky Wan Kenobi-Incredible work here. This is the first time I've seen some of your work and I'm glad to see you share it. It's got an excellent level of detail and I think it's very creative.
  • Sinner-Simply awesome. Everyone's entry captured the spirit of the contest, but yours especially so. You put a lot of thought into it and there are a lot of incredible details in there. Very creative.
  • Sir Nadroj-This is another incredibly creative entry. That's quite a beautiful creation and you can tell you had fun creating it.

Like I said, everyone's entry was creative, fun and well built and I appreciate everyone entering and having a good time. I really think contests should be about having fun and building and challenging yourself and prizes and polls should be secondary. I hope you all had fun and thanks for entering. I would comment on all of them, but I'm out of time, so I've only commented on the ones that I was considering voting for.

Best of luck to all! *sweet* *y*

In answer to Alex's question I will let the voting go for another week. I may frontpage it, because there are some cool prizes at stake here.

I voted for Alex54. Its just a thing of beauty, perfect, simple and charming.

Also, thanks to those who voted for me, all two of you! :-D

Batbrick Away! >:-)

I had to go with TheBrickster's entry. The use of the Orient Expedition pieces is great, and overall the MOC is beautiful. Nice work! ;-)
