PeterF Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 That is epic! The shear number of functions, at this scale, and it still looks great. TLG really should produce a 9V battery option like that. How fragile are the connections at the nose section? Quote

MangaNOID Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 gorgeous plane and function packed! hardly a studs worth of hollow in the plane. is there much noticeable difference between using one 9v battery compared to the 9v battery box?... is that a silly question? Quote
teflon Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Wow. Very good. I like this technic/work-horse look of the plane. You can see the amount of functions trying to jump out. It would be super cool to see just the naked fuselage without panels. I think it is very cool how much mechanism you have in that small space. I would like to see more, all this gear-pr0n:-) Quote
1gor Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 it looks at the first sight like fuselage and wings are inspired by Hellcat Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 very nice. packed with functions, lovely colourscheme and lines A bit fickly controls and semi-legal techniques, but at this scale that is unavoidable with so many functions, The propellor shaft does look a little flimsy though. Well done! Quote
evortigosa Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 The plane is gorgeous! I am not a big fan of an extensive use of black bricks, but this plane have great details. Excellent lines. Good work! Is this plane based on spitfire? Quote
Seasider Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Great model, reminds me a bit of a Pilatus PC-9. Quote

Yes, everything is packed very tightly. The issue with batteries is relevant. 9v very quickly sit down, so the main source of energy is the unit, although this is not very aesthetic. Thanks you. 21 hours ago, teflon said: Wow. Very good. I like this technic/work-horse look of the plane. You can see the amount of functions trying to jump out. Unfortunately now the model is dismantled, the photo without panels I can do later. 20 hours ago, I_Igor said: it looks at the first sight like fuselage and wings are inspired by Hellcat There is something similar, you are right. 12 hours ago, Jeroen Ottens said: very nice. packed with functions, lovely colourscheme and lines A bit fickly controls and semi-legal techniques, but at this scale that is unavoidable with so many functions, The propellor shaft does look a little flimsy though. Well done! Thank you for useful feedback) there are unfortunately enough shortcomings. You are right, I often had to make non-standard decisions to finally solve some problems, and that something still remained imperfect. 2 hours ago, evortigosa said: The plane is gorgeous! Black is in my biggest quantity, I would have to depart from this practice) I was inspired by many aircraft, including a spitfire. Quote

Davidz90 Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 So many functions :O The cabin interior is a marvel of engineering. Quote

Nikolay Posted August 28, 2017 Author Posted August 28, 2017 Good day! The instruction is finally ready. Perhaps the assembly of the second wing will seem uncomfortable, for more I was not enough.Instruction: https://yadi.sk/i/kS8e8Z0e3MQAsF Quote
teflon Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Holly bricks. This looks quite a challenge! Thanks Nikolay for the instructions of really creative plane. Quote
