It seems to be a consistent problem. When I refresh an EB page the first time, upon reloading it gives me the error. I can refresh away the error page, and then the page properly reloads. If I try to refresh the properly reloaded page, I'll get the error again. *wacko*

Thanks Hinckley! X-D

I checked, and Javascript appears to be turned on.

I'm also experiencing the same problem at BZP, so it may be an Invision problem.

I looked at the Invision web site, and there have been several reports of a similar problem already. Also, when I refresh the page on their site, I get an error there too. X-O

8-| Nope, that wasn't it. UB's suggestion is a helpful post, and the Opera site looks clean.

It does appear to be an invision problem. I'm not sure what the compatibility issue is but I've never had that problem with IE7. I'm not sure what to tell you. If enough people report the problem to microsoft, I'm sure they'll eventually work out the bug. Microsoft likes to blame it on everyone else, but I'm sure the problem's on their side... ;-)

As for the vulgarity, if you're referring to Jinzo's post, the post is completely appropriate for an 18 + site, which EB is.

Well it was probably all that talk of "cats" :-P I have to admit, it did get a bit out of hand :-D

Someone has reported this thread as vulgar. UB, I assume it's your nasty Opera link. Shame on you.

:-P

I assume it's your nasty FACE! >:-(

It appears to me that there's an IE 7 problem. :-/

I knew when I saw this thread had reached 2 pages that Hinckley must have done something to let it off topic :-P

Batbrick Away! >:-)

:-D I am extremely happy at the moment, because I have solved the problem! X-D It turns out that the user script "Show Password onMouseOver," when enabled in IE7Pro, appears to be the cause of the bug. That script, not this board's code, has the "appendChild" string detailed in the Microsoft link in the first post of this topic. I have disabled the plugin, and EB works fine. I have reported the bug to the plugin's creator, and in the meantime, I think this topic can be closed! X-D

P.S. Hinckley, where is the line drawn as to what is and what isn't appropriate on EB?

That's only what they want you to think. *vader*

Well it's nothing too incredibly strict. We are for freedom of speech although we don't want any political or religious discussions spoiling our fun. As far as Jinzo's pic goes, it's pretty much G-rated. It isn't anything you wouldn't see on prime time TV and isn't anywhere near even the Janet Jackson Super Bowl half-time show level. You see more flesh on a slave Leia fig...

I can't speak for the whole staff though, so if they have anything to add, I'm sure they will.

Since you requested this topic be closed, I shall close it.
