josszo Posted November 13, 2017 Author Posted November 13, 2017 Some picture, but need to order some white panels and liftarms :) All pneumatics function on the roof. Manual and electric pumping function, and lot of pneumatic switches. Switches to all door, and rise/lower the chassis - and combinations (all door at the same time, all rising pump at the same time) I will build 3 removable hoods, these will hide the switches. Quote
Aventador2004 Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 Nice progress, looks promising. Quote
josszo Posted November 18, 2017 Author Posted November 18, 2017 Arrived some white parts. There is better looking now: Quote
1gor Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Honestly @josszo it looks great, proportions are good, whole model is rounded up. Quote
jotta93 Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 This is really massive and beautiful done! Are you planning on making a video? I would love to see it in action Quote
josszo Posted November 18, 2017 Author Posted November 18, 2017 I'm happy, that people follow my work, and they like it. So, later I will make a video. :) Quote
krolli Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 What a great Project. It reminds me to my childhood. I used the similar in GDR to reach the "kindergarten". After all the good memories, I started als a LEGO- Articulated Bus. Its a Mercedes Benz CapaCity L. Quote
josszo Posted December 7, 2017 Author Posted December 7, 2017 One of my next projects is a full remote controlled Capacity Bus :) Size is a problem. This articulated ikarus is 1 meter long, Capacity with 4 axle will be bigger :S So it is a huge project. Quote

As I can see Ikarus bus is very good, so new project; Mercedes Benz CapacityL would be very interesting, at least here is one suggestion - use shield with Mercedes star from 42043 set Edited December 7, 2017 by I_Igor Quote
josszo Posted December 7, 2017 Author Posted December 7, 2017 I have 2 spare Arocs set, so it is possible to use this shield. But, what do you think about a red remote controlled ikarus trolleybus? It is other big plan. 14 function, with 7 function switch with at least 8 motor. It is other big plan :) Don't link any picture, it will be surprise later. :) Quote
KikoTube Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I would love to see the red trolleybus. I was often in Budapest and this Bus is just so charming Quote

josszo Posted December 8, 2017 Author Posted December 8, 2017 Maybe close enough, but always need to order other parts too. Usually I chose interesting, and rare colors :) Quote
kbalage Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 (edited) +1 for the red trolibusz ;) Do you know already how you will create the middle section on this bus (which looks amazing btw)? Edited December 8, 2017 by kbalage Quote
josszo Posted December 8, 2017 Author Posted December 8, 2017 The structure of middle section is almost done, Tomorrow I take pictures. The rubber corridor is the most difficult: I could work with only lego pieces, but it would not realistic. I choose other way, I will use black hard papers, and do some origami. It will be fine, such as the real :) Quote
josszo Posted December 9, 2017 Author Posted December 9, 2017 I know, need a better camera, but here are the pictures about the middle section. On the roof, there are stabilizer arms, such as in the real world :) It is only visual effect, but behave as the real Next step to install all of the pneumatic tubes, I hate it :( Quote
josszo Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 Under the "hood" I have started the tubing Quote
Aventador2004 Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Quite interesting to see what you are doing, over a long period of time. How much % do you think is done? Quote
josszo Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 I'm in the finish line. All bodywork is ready, only need to finish the difficult tubing. I'm ready with the 1/4 of the tubing, I think. My plan is to finish in this year :) Quote
agrof Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 I have ambivalent feelings: 1. It is a bus. 2. It is awesome! Quote
josszo Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 Here is the tubing between the front and the rear unit. Needed to create a flexible system, that can rotate, when the bus is steering. Can add "multi level tubing" name of this creation :) Quote
Boulderer Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 I applaud your bravery in not colour coding the tubing Quote
