Let's see.. since all of my computers are set up to hide all GUI elements (menus, icons, taskbar, etc) all I usually see without programs running is the wallpaper, so I'll just post scaled down versions of them)

Sobekneferu: (laptop, 1024x768, take it pretty much everywhere)

Serket: (workstation at home, 1920x1200)

Hatshepsut: (old laptop, 1400x1050, now sits at home pretending to be a web server, use it for testing)

My other four computers (of which only one (Pachet) is actually used daily, one (Seshat) used occasionally to free up storage on the others, one (Tenenit) used on special occasions, and one (Nephthys) just collecting dust ;-)) don't have GUIs (or monitors), so screenshots from them are pretty pointless. ;-)

..and just to have a desktop here that actually has some stuff on it too I added a screenshot from Sobekneferu, showing the very inactive #eurobricks :-P (totally unofficial IRC channel, on Quakenet if anyone cares) in Irssi. (which happens to run on Pachet)

Now that's just all kinds of awesome.

If that's been hardened, what type of heat source did he use? When I used a crafts heating gun, there was a FINE line between hardening and burning/blistering.

And is that all solid clay, or did he have a non-clay "skeleton" underneath? It seemed like stuff I did would harden on the outside, but the clay inside would still be disproportionately mushy... which was very problematic.

Thanks! *sweet*

He started with a wire armature, on a wood base. Then he built up the character in white polymer clay. One by one, he sculpted the hundreds of little creatures, and attached them. Baked in an oven (275 degrees, I think), cooled, then polished with acrylic gloss (I think X-D )

He commissions, too, and donates to money to a fund for children with cancer. :-) Thought I'd add that in. ;-)

Big anime fan.

My desktop has been one anime scene or another for several years.

This movie has the most beautiful animation I have ever seen. This picture actually does not do it justice at all.

It's called Byousoku, and it's actually available for download legally on the internet. Easiest way to get it it Bittorent. Worthy of a look I assure everyone.

Here are some more screen shots, some of which are actually much nicer than my desktop... I really should switch.
