9 fingers Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Hello folks. I made a simple fidget spinner out of technic bricks. It is wery popular thing right now. I think so. My version is not that fast as it must be. Try to make some, and beat me. and the video of the performance. Have fun. Best regards, Valter Quote
Jurss Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 I'm allready tired, my son asks all the time for this thing. I told him, to build it from lego. He does not build it. I suggested to use smallest turntables, more like brick version. At the end I will have to do it, or just buy Quote

Just to join the trend, my classmates keep buying these useless things. Quote

Buddy010702 Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Cool build, unfortunately it's probably not possible to get Lego to go much faster, too much friction. (might be possible it Lego made a ball bearing, which we all are already hoping for) 14 hours ago, Jurss said: I'm allready tired, my son asks all the time for this thing. It's not worth it to buy it. 5 hours ago, Boxerlego said: Here is My take on Fidget Spinners this one is capable of Spinning Itself. I like this suggestion, very unique look to the fidget spinner! One of daughters scoolmates allready made his own and even put in to production :) But if cheapest cost some 3-5EUR, then I will allow my son to buy it for his own money. There where also lot of almost useless thing in my childhood, which we wanted and also bought, and then after some two days forgot about them. And there will be such things always. Quote
kbalage Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Don't want to create a separate topic for this - we also constructed some Technic fidget spinners with my son: Quote
jam8280 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 I decided to see what all the fuss was about and ended up making these... Some of these can double as spinning tops, but only for a few seconds. The first video is pushing 25,000 views now -- clear evidence of a mass addiction out there, as that's nearly 200 times my average for a LEGO video! Those are some cool designs -- especially the big gray one. Quote
