I'm guessing the campervan to have probably a squirrel and maybe a bird or even a rabbit.

I’m hoping for a menacing bear or troop of raccoons 🐻🦝🦝🦝

I would like a bear like a grizzly instead of the regular bear mold but I doubt lego would do it.

Raccoons would be a nice addition

In theory the first iteration of that bear (and its design /shape) was a grizzly/brown bear in the forest police sets. That’s ancient history now though. Still one of my favourite of all Lego animals … and we have a bear cub now, so maybe it’s time to revisit the brown bears

So glad to read all these great animal-mould-related news! I'm of course thrilled by the wolf and the new cat (there's no such thing as too many cats).

Now I'm hoping for a mountain chough in one of the city sets...juste a simple, yet instantly recognisable recolour of the Dreamzzz raven and here comes my favourite bird in Lego form!

Yeah the bear mold looks more like a black bear or some of the smaller bear species.  A larger mold that looks more like a Brown bear or Grizzly would be awesome.  The mold now does fit the polar bear but a polar bear would be larger also.

Yeah I like the brightly colored beak and legs of the Chough.

A lot of people are looking for a recolor of the Dreamzzz Raven to make an actual Raven.  I'm sure they will do it in all black or maybe even in black and dark purple.

I think a chough is wishful thinking. But I applaud your wishful thinking.

I only have Polar bears in my collection so I'd be very happy to get a Grizzly, Brown or Black bear along with a bear cub or two or three.  I'm sure we'll be seeing a raven at some point since they have the mold now.  A racoon, groundhog, ground squirrel or chipmunk would be nice.  A Lynx or Bobcat would be really interesting. For the ungulates we need Elk, Moose & normal Deer. I'd love a nice white Mountain Goat & a Bighorn Ram.  A few more raptors would be nice.

For land mammals I forgot a few.  Bison, Beaver, Pronghorn Antelope, Dall Sheep.  For more interesting species maybe Muskox, porcupine, armadillo.  There's also fox, wolverine, weasels or martens, wild boar & badgers.

I won't get into reptiles & amphibians cause I prefer the furry species.  But a toad or some lizard varieties could be interesting.

That’s quite a North America-specific list you got there!

I’m hankering for a Lego iguana: it would be good for either wild or ‘as a pet’ settings, and could come in a range of colours too. Would be a nice new animal to get in a CMF with an archetypal tourist, Floridian, or Charles Darwin homage!

I'm not all that familiar with the names of European species but I'm sure there are a lot that you have similar type animals such as the deer, fox & weasel family.  Do you have some sort of wild pig similar to or the same as the Boar?

We are decades-overdue for a pigeon at this stage.

Yes to pigeons!!! City/Modular looks odd if there is a white dove.

Anyways, i.just picked up D&D minifigure with a baby dragon. I a hoping that they could do a small adult-sized dragon like classic Dagon. I’m totally into fantasy, alien, prehistoric and extant creatures!!!!

The Dorothy CMF had a scottie.  Not sure about the others but I know they are out there.  I think one was in the BAM towers at some point in time.  Westie was in a CMF so the Scottie seems to have been BAM tower as I can't find a set listed for it other than Duplo & the Dorothy CMF (which was gray).

It was definitely in the BAM tower.

This was my haul in September 2021. I regret not getting more lobsters.

The shepherd dog (3, plus one as a ‘Dalmatian’ plus 2 special ones), husky (3), terrier (3), Chihuahua (3, one is just a slight difference in the eyes), Bulldog (3, one is just a collar change), French bulldog (3, plus one robot version), retriever (3), vested Labrador (3 I think), Afghan hound, shepherd puppy (2), dachshund (2), and whatever breed Fang in Harry Potter is supposed to be [EDIT : it’s a Neapolitan Mastiff]

So that’s TWELVE dog moulds in existence, not counting Friends and Disney ones.

… in theory the terrier mould was used to represent a Scottish Terrier (in black), a West Highland Terrier (in white) and a Cairn Terrier (Toto!)

We have very similar fauna across the northern hemispheres, with some exceptions. Plus we are often divided by common names such as what we call an elk or a moose or a deer ;)

I’m surprised a boar hasn’t turned up already, would be great for historic or forest themes. It was also the ‘steed’ of Dain Ironfoot the dwarf army leader in the Hobbit, so it could have appeared there.

I visited Uxmal in Mexico a number of years ago and there are lots of iguanas just hanging about - pretty scary when exploring some of the ruins and an iguana runs out of the shadows - they are big! Perhaps with a Mayan figure or another Conquistador/16th Century explorer would be good.

Hanging about is better than falling out of trees when it’s too cold, though

I think there’s a real dearth of central & South American animals in the Lego biome. So, on top of the iguana I’d love to see an armadillo, sloth and a ‘proper’ capybara too. As well a the obvious need for a modern macaw.

Only when it’s a lot of them.
