Yes I wrote the species instead of the Lego color in my haste It is the most common one we got this year

A new stingray print in Avatar, looks more realistic than the Ninjago one, not half bad, but would have looked better without the purple printing..
There is also a few smaller animals in the sets like the fish and crab..

And still no CMF Series 24 or City’s winter wave revealed yet…

Yet again, it looks like the 2023 Chinese New Year sets have no panda mold.

Printed butterflies, though! When that butterfly mold was introduced last year I was hoping it could be printed, and the ones in the Lunar New Year Display set look gorgeous!

The only thing the Chinese new year sets are missing are animal moulds. They look great, have a lot of parts in new colours and at least one every year is focused on a animal however the animal is always there as a costumed character not the actual animal. Probably more realistic with how the actual celebrations are and give me an excuse not to buy the sets

The printed butterfly look great, but will probably cost a lot more than the unprinted ones

 Agreed. I’m  not thrilled to see that price in at least 4 months ater the 2023 Chinese New Year sets’ release. 

But it doesn’t stop me from being excited about ordering printed butterflies, although I will beg my wallet for forgiveness.

There’s a pic of a new leaked ‘mini modular’ building out, which seems to have thechihuahua in a new colour (I *think* it’s the new ‘medium brown’ we have seen in some minifig heads).

It is so bad potato-camera quality of the picture that I am not 100% it is a chihuahua, the color I have no idea about, but it is probably not green

Well, only i know Modular Building would be pizza shop + Jaq club… so I have no idea what is “minI modular” means exactly? Like GWP (vintage Taxi set) or….?

Not sure could be a GWP or a 3-1 creator type set (they do not have animals), basically it is a small building with the dog sitting outside

Agreed. We are desperate for that otter after we got stag and hare Patronus molds recolored.
