I mean Lego sort of ressurected the Castle theme in the last couple of years, so the fox would make sense IMO

We still have no idea what kind of minifigure or animal would show up in CMF. But if it’s fox, it’s great to populate woodlands for Forestmen.  But i hope it’s panda myself tho.

Itaria said “probably it’s one of these” when I mentioned fawn, fox, beaver, bear/panda cub. Who knows but I’m so excited!

A fawn would also work with Castle/Forestmen.

Weren’t kangaroo and koala mentioned as well? An Aussie naturalist archetype has definitely come up as a possibility in CMF discussions before, and with several design elements that could make a character distinctly Australian even without a marsupial companion I definitely wouldn’t discount lego going that direction.

As much as I like baby animals, I’m hoping for an entirely new species! My personal wishes are foxes and raccoons

Agreed. Would much rather a new species than a baby

Yeah, that would leave us a few options: fox, beaver, koala, kangaroo, and panda. Fawn and bear/panda cub are considered as babies but we NEVER had a non-Friends panda beore.

If Lego ever did any Australian animals in system (not Duplo or Friends) style it would be "shut up and take my money". Heck, I am even giving thought to snagging the Duplo koala in my next online PaB order (although it's a bit on the expensive side...)

Ooh leaked list suggests

new koala

black falcon (guess it may be reuse of parrot mould)

and ‘small white dog’ coming in S24 🙌🏼

Guess you’re poor now 🤷🏽‍♂️

Update :

small white dog is recoloured chihuahua

falcon is a new mould with outstretched wings

so that’s two new animal moulds and one recolour (just like CMF 23)

The falcon is said to have open wings so it will not be the parrot mold.

They can eat EITHER a carrot, some leaves or a turkey leg - those are the only available foods for Lego animals
