Yes most of them are crazy looking, but if they make say the white-tailed/mule deer mould and print on the flowers etc we may get it in a normal print later
I assume the hen/chicken is the mould we already have and not a rooster..

I would be surprised if there is no new animals in the City summer wave with all the theme has had the last couple of year and the orca have been a long time coming. How many year ago was it we should have gotten it, but it was cancelled?

I think the orca was originally rumored for the summer 2018 arctic wave, so 5 years ago.

The largest set of the subtheme this summer is supposed to be the ~$160 "arctic explorer ship", which would make a lot of sense to include an orca alongside the main boat (LEGO would probably lock it behind the most expensive set if we're being honest haha).

I WANT OCRA! Ahem, please excuse me for shouting. 

I know Great White Shark is not exaclty new in 2020 becuase the big shark mold was introduced in the Pirates of the Caribbean theme .that mold showed up with a main boat set in 2020. But if if an orca does show up in a largest set, well, I would order it seperatedly.

Honestly, not fussed about the orca, but seals would be awesome. I'd love a more modern crab too, and a set with the hermit crab in.

That was a different mould it was introduced in Agents in 2008

Since the Little mermaid set did not come with one I do not think the chances are good for a new crab

True, although they have said before that the bugdet for new moulds tends to come from the lower price, higher volume sets, so City is perhaps more of a candidate than a specialized adult-focused Disney set. Could well be wishful thinking, but until then...

Oh, and while we're at it, better, more modern fish too, please. And an updated Macaw or parrot, but that's unlikely in the Arctic, unless it's very, very lost.

Based on the past few years of animal-adjacent themes, I'm hoping for at least 4-5 new moulds, plus probably some reuses/reprints.

If we get an orca and a seal, I'd be willing to bet at least one of those will come with a baby version, which would be crazy cute. Other than that, maybe another marine animal or something for the arctic sets like an arctic fox or wolf? I could see us getting the polar bear again, and an obligatory husky/sleddog.

Let me see… I know city has so many new animal molds sine 2020.

2020 (Ocean) - Angerfish (new mold), Hammerhead shark (only ew head mold), Manta Ray (new mold), Great White Shark (recolored)

2021 (Wildlife Rscue) - Male Lion (only new head mold), Monkey (new mold), Elephant (9new mold), Elephant Calf (new mold), African Eagle (recolored), African Python (recolored), Lion Cub (new mold)

2022 (Farm) - Cow (recolored), Cow Calf (new mold), Pig (not new or reprinted) Piglet (new mold), Sheep (not new or reprinted but only new fleece piece), Lamb (new mold), 

So I feel like an orca is good enough for 2023’s summer subtheme since it’s little larger than the recent elepant mold. But I’m hoping we would get a baby animal verision like polar bear or seal.

Since there's a $10/€10 snowmobile set, it'll probably come with some small animal(s), as City has had sets like the chicken coop or Otter habitat recently with 2 small same animals.

Agreed. And there was 2 monkeys in $10 set in 2021. “Old” chicken mold is not very exciting for that coop set last year but monkey and otter molds are much better. 

So…I’mnot sure what kind of small animls in $10 set if there is no new animal mold. 

Ican’t remember if there is a medium animal in $10 set for ocean subtheme back in 2020, hammerhead shark or manta ray. Not a small one like standard crab or fish.

I think there's a good chance the snowmobile will include a husky, like the $10 set from 2018 did. Possibly with some new accessories or something, but I feel like there won't be any exciting new moulds in that set.

husky is a safe bet, and has been in smallest Arctic sets before. That said I would expect if there’s indeed a new seal/s mould or maybe even a polar bear cub ( 🤞🏽) then they could also show up in a smaller set. Recent patterns have given us monkeys, chickens, stingray and even shark in such sets.
