On the other hand, as the situation is what it is, I can understand Friends horses, due to needing that 2x2 space to stand on, but for the other , smaller animals, it's a lot of doubling up different moulds and prints. I do not think minidoll animals are the problem, yes it would be perfect if all the minidoll sets had only minifig animals like Paradisa, but they are spending their own budget on the moulds. If you are married and your spouse is spending a lot of money it's a big difference if the person spends your money or not If anything it seems that if one of the "groups" get's a new animal the other one will get a version of the animal in a year or two 3 hours ago, Lion King said: Is there a new tiger mold for city’s Jungle subtheme this summer? My guess as I have said before is that one of the sets has tiger cubs, so probably that and the adult may have somewhat different printing than the original one, a new mould make little sense.. Quote

They recently had the lioness, and isn’t that basically the same mould, just with a different color and prints? I agree that perhaps what they meant was the tiger print pattern itself will be different this time. Quote
Lion King Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 They didn’t mention “new color or print” for tige but just “new mold”. Maybe it’s just lost in translation . Quote

First it's clearly inspired by / a semi-tribute to MMV, which had a good amount of animals. Second the leaked prelim had a lot more. Finally, a strong part of the feeling of mediaeval town and peasant scenes (whether based in reality or not) is lots of animals running around. I would've expected to at least see a bunch of chickens, a pig and piglet, etc. So all in all, what's presented in the set is good, but it feels like animals are missing to really tie it together, and as a LEGO animal fan of course I would've liked to see more / in new colours or patterns too. I get it i thought there would be a few more animals too. But I in no way thought we were getting the 15 plus animals that were in the original photo. Quote
Roebuck Posted February 14, 2024 Author Posted February 14, 2024 Dog, bird and rat in D&D CMF it seems, not sure if they are new moulds or not. And a antlered hood part 🦌😅 Quote

Robert8 Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 I mean, arent those characters from the IP? Im very unfamiliar with D&D but i was thinking it was like Fornite: just look up the name of the characters to see what they look like Quote

Do not know much either, but even if they are normal I assume they spend most of the budget on other parts so make little sense to use that on animals in that series, my guess is recolors at best Strange that we are getting detailed leaks from fall sets, when we still do not now much details of the City jungle sets coming in summer.. Roebuck Posted February 15, 2024 Author Posted February 15, 2024 Seems to be a lot of animal printed parts in the Snow White set, (could also be stickers), not animal moulds, but could be nice parts to have anyway Quote

Bar a couple of figures in the series, they don't seem to be very inflated on the aftermarket, unlike the CMF25 Goatherd. I guess it's just because many aren't highly liked or sought after characters. Quote

Not that unusual. Last year, some of the advent calendar minifigs leaked before we had proper information about the summer sets and in 2020, a high-res picture of the 2nd HP CMF series leaked in March Or how about the Space CMF (S26?) that already leaked in the middle of December? Interesting, I suppose from what I know of D&D all their dragons have four legs instead of two. But that just makes it even more desirable. It will be interesting to see which ‘bird’ and ‘small dog’ make an appearance here. I think the terrier fits the context better than the French bulldog, chihuahua, or the dachshund, but we also have two puppy molds that fit the description as well. For the bird, we all think of the songbird as the generic bird, but just plain ‘bird’ also covers molds like the Falcon that hasn’t been seen since its introduction. Quote

There are both, two legged and four legged dragons, with the two legged ones called wyverns - we even discussed whether the big dragon in the D&D set would be either the one or the other. I would kinda expect four legs for the small one, 13 hours ago, Accio Lego said: It will be interesting to see which ‘bird’ and ‘small dog’ make an appearance here.
