Okay, it‘s technically not an animal, but one of the Wednesday sets introduces a new moulded gargoyle piece  Looks to be compatible with minifig sets too!

You now it’s called maturity… goat’s popularity havne yet reached its peak!

Plus we have 4.5 years left until we say goodbye to goat or designers keep using the mold.

I neither said they wouldn´t return, nor that they shouldn´t. But if we are beeing honest, they are not really ones that have that high chances to come back anytime soon. Of course Lego could make other Africa Sets and include them or a City Ostrich Farm (well that one is probably very unlikely though)

Well best way is you make a super famous Film where both of them are included and play important roles. Pay attention that it doesn´t end up as a friends set though ;).

They are doing a Minifig-Scale Lion King movie? Or it will be included in the ideas Set for 100 years Disney?

Yup. And I think Simba looks like it’s a Friends animal rather than a minfigure animal?

Yes, you are right. Looks like that's the case.

For a one off like the ideas set it makes sense to reuse a Friends cat mold for Simba - it fits pretty well and the Friends animals are designed to have more elaborately printed faces than regular system animals.

There's also a Youtube video up that has some photos. I just Googled "Lego Wednesday set leaks," and it was the first video to pop up. The gargoyles look quite good!

“Regular system animal’ sounds weird to describe but yeah i agree with you on Freinds animal for Simba.  We used to hae Eeyore in ideas Pooh the Winner set that handsome face prints in 2021 i think. But I think Simba looks nice in that  Friends cat mold Han minifig cat.

I asked about butterflies a while ago, with intent to use them on a bonsai. Finally finished it.

And I now have all four seasons complete.

Speaking of camels and ostriches, I have two of each in new/unused condition that I'm interested in trading for more woodland-y creatures.
I am brand new to Eurobricks (as of five minutes ago), so maybe this forum isn't the place to discuss trades. If it isn't, would someone kindly escort me to the right room?

Welcome to Eurobricks! Animal fans are especially welcome.

There’s a ‘buy sell trade’ section in the forums, which would be your best bet. Not sure which ‘woodlandy’ creatures you’re after, but the stag, otter, squirrels, hare, rabbit, owls are still pretty available on Lego’s Bricks & pieces site. If it’s bears you’re after, then that’s probably more of a fair swap for your critters!

It might be you will get the wolf mould that some of you have been asking for in series CMF 27 with the wolfpack beastmaster fig if the rumors are right.
There is also a cat lover for the 3-4 time, hopefully more than one that or a new mould this time.
Could be more animals like with the pirate fig

The list currently making the rounds doesn’t mention any accessories, so this is more speculation than anything, unless I‘m missing something

Same here, my fingers are crossed for all new molds - hamster, wolf, and cat! I need o keep my hope low….

A little disappointing to be honest - I know a potential wolf will please many but not really for me and a cat isn't too exciting either. Was hoping for more rainforest/safari/Australian animals or a swan!
