that wolf looks awesome, and in a CMF! Cockatoo is sweet, have long hoped for one. I *think* I spy a new cat mould too- that tail looks thicker than the normal one. Maybe it’s a long haired version.

Cockatoo is a really nice addition for me. It goes well with either the existing toucan, or koala. As @Roebuck has said often though, this now makes the existing plain parrot *really* out-of-date and out-of-place beside them.

Now that we have two Australia-specific creatures, speculation has to be high that some Aussie-sited sets, and a kangaroo, can’t be too far away in the Lego animal future though. 

That Beastmaster figure with the wolf is going to be INSANELY popular though…

I think you are right. The cat lover fig would be deliberately designed to be underwhelming if not; I can't imagine LEGO would do that.

Also I hope that LEGO reuses the wolf mould for a recolor of Padfoot. I really dislike the one we got in the recent Shrieking Shack; the eyes look just so off...

I’m not a fan of any of the weird-eyed animals we get. It limits their use so much. And don’t get me started on shark eyebrows!

Well, I get why they don't print classic black eyes on black, and in case of Padfoot, that's movie accurate, so I'm fine with that. It's the eyes' position for me. The recent padfoot has the eyes printed on the side of the head almost. Looks cheap.

Now that I think about it... The long-haired cat mould you suggested could also be reused for HP as Crookshanks, maybe in Dark Orange or Medium Nougat.

On black they usually give the basic eyes a white outline, which works fine. I just think they should standardise them as much as possible, including licensed series, *especially* when that beastie doesn’t appear in that colour ‘normally’.

Was just looking at group shots of the Series 19 figures: the Dogsitter, who came with two dogs, only has one dog showing in the group image. So, fingers crossed that the Cat Lover could still have another (existing) cat or kitten too 🐈‍⬛🐈

The cockatoo and wolf pieces look amazing, definitely my highlights of S27, along with the new cat, yarn, and plush toy pieces

Some groups shots of series 19 included the French bulldog and some didn’t.  None seem to have included the new poop piece. So yeah, there’s definitely a precedent of not cluttering up group shots with every single accessory. 
 

The animals that we do know are in this series look great though. The cockatoo is lovely, and has quite likely convinced me to get the quartermaster. The wolf and new cat also look good - from what we can see. Rather frustrating that most of their bodies are covered up in the group shot, I will remain irked until we get better pics.

Wolf!!!!!! About damn tiiiime…. I’m also gald that we get a new bird mold. 

I’m kinda suprised that we don’t get any reptile mold since S19 (it’s when we got chameleon).

The animals look great and comes with useful figures to me, there will be a crazy hunt for the wolfpack in stores. The rest of the series do not look very interesting to me..hopefully another cat included to spice up that fig

Kimono dragons are ones that come with dresses on?  LOL

Komodo dragons would be awesome they are one of my favorite lizards.  

Since we have a Wolf now if we could get an actual fox and not just the friends one that would be great.  

We really need more antlered and horned animals like Bighorn sheep, Gazelles, water buffalo, Bison, White-tailed deer, Antelope, Wild boar, Rhino, Impala, Wildebeast, etc
