Yeah… I think they’d be better off taking the udder out, not replacing it with anything new down there, and printing a ring on the nose. But all that effort would still need to be precipitated by a situation that specifically needed a bull instead of a cow, and I can’t think of too many situations like that in Lego form. Maybe if they ever did a covered wagon type set they’d do oxen to pull it (which would be indistinguishable from a bull in lego form).

They are bigger than cows as well, however I do not think there are big enough differences to warrant a new mould at this time, I would rather see some recolors of the animals in the set and think the chances are good for that :sweet:

On an unrelated topic, isn’t the start of the month when Bricks and Pieces adds new parts? And shouldn’t this month’s batch be from the June sets? That means we should see the new jungle animals available at any time now right?

All the animals are coming soon, they where shown of at SWF this weekend. They even handed out goats and red pandas for the participants and had a "guess how many goats there are in the jar" guessing game where the winner gets all the goats :sweet: Too bad I did not go this year, would be fantastic to win that jar
As I wrote in the PAB thread, people living in Europe, Australia etc will soon get parts from a huge new warehouse in Poland all as bestseller, so probably better to wait for that so we hopefully can get GWPs on our orders again

I desperately want that red panda, and I’m in the USA so there’s no point waiting on my part. I’ve got a cart full of parts for decorating my Harry Potter Great Hall for Halloween, I’m just holding out in hopes of adding those June animals to the mix.
Although that does make me wonder – there’s a sizable new Lego facility going up in Virginia that’s set to start rolling out production in 2027. Maybe those of us in the Western Hemisphere will be able to have the same PaB perks then too.

I agree with a printed nose ring. I feel a new mold for bull along with new hor nieces might do better.  Bulls are fairly bulkier than cows.

Worryingly, the two smaller jungle City sets are marked on the LEGO website as retiring soon (red panda and olive crocogators), which is a little surprising, but will also be annoying if their parts don't make it to PaB. I was hoping to get some of the animals (and figures, and four-part map tiles), but some are exclusive to these small sets.

The animals will come in a few days, they had them on display in Skærbæk, the rest of the parts I do not know since I did not look to closely at the other parts in the picture:shrug_oh_well:

I honestly had to go look that up. I *think* in general usage here in Scotland, it’s pretty normal to pluralise it, though I have to say, it’s not an area of expertise for me.

If it's a dialectical thing then I can't fault it.

It's definitely common usage in England to say "udders", so I'd imagine it would be similar a little way north

The new City Jungle animals (olive green crocodile, gorilla, sand green baby crocodile, tiger, baby gorilla, red panda) as well as the 2nd half 2024 Friends animals like the beaver are (according to the latest information put out by LEGO) landing on PaB on the 9th of October.

So, they’ll be mostly sold out within five minutes and out-of-stock for a few weeks since 9th October then ;)

Depends on the price I guess, the newly released crocodile parts are mostly in stock. I fear the tiger and adult gorilla will be so expensive so a lot of people will either buy the set or use BL etc :sceptic:
Time will show, I will wait until all parts are bestseller in a few weeks and a nice GWP is up for grabs:wink:

Yeah, since both aren´t exactly included in that expensive sets their bricklink prices aren´t that high actually. Then again, not everyone knows/uses bricklink - the question is just, how many of those use pick a brick?

Was there any estimated time mentioned on how fast those changes will apply? Didn´t sound exactly like it would happen that fast from what I´ve read, but could depend a lot on the real wording there.

Not sure, since I was not there this year. Within a few weeks I believe so hopefully before black Friday :shrug_oh_well:

Wouldn´t be surprised if it takes till next year. I mean they would probably want to be done either some weeks before black friday since I would expect them to get more orders once the change is applied, with some people holding out till then with orders. And since black friday and the time after orders usually went up anyways, it isn´t a time where I would expect them to do such changes, so next year doesn´t seem that unlikely. We will see I guess.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find dark brown orange chickens in my local LEGO store's BAM tower today, and got four of them to add to my meagre collection of two. Don't know if they just got some surplus stock or if they will be coming more widely.

The packing facility has been up and running for almost a year now.  https://www.wric.com/news/local-news/chesterfield-county/lego-begins-operations-at-external-packing-facility-in-chesterfield-county/

One of the Icons sets will apparently be a dachshund, probably not with a small mould, but you newer know :shrug_oh_well:

I probably have to buy that set since I have 2 for the breed

It looks like this was a false leak!

Woohoo - already have some gorilla arms in order, but no body, as it went out of stock *exactly* when I was processing the order. It’s like the headless elephants all over again! 🦍

Thos red pandas seem, like the goats, crazy expensive.

Like the goat, the red panda features painted on decorations. At least the panda puts on a good show to make up for the price tag.

No sign of the new parts in Canada. Not sure why we're considered a separate market from the US since that's where the non-Billund parts ship from, but hopefully they'll show up for me one day.
