So some fuzzy catalogue pics have been leaked: large city set seems to have a dog mould that might be new that might also be wearing a harness, and is being walked by someone in dark glasses. New assistance dog and new Labrador mould? ? paws crossed!

Looks like another dog in the townhouse set too. Possibly same mould.

Sounds great  I assume there is some dog-owners among the City designers since the sets include a few of them lately :sweet: Still no pigeons I guess? There is a tractor coming in City also, you did not see if that had any animals by any chance?

Red tractor seems to just have one animal - the white rabbit ?

OK, better than nothing, but they could have put in the new pig without much cost at least :hmpf: They are still preliminary I guess so still hope :sceptic:

Agreed. At the very least fingers crossed that the bunny gets a recolour. I did expect the tractor set to be an excuse for animals, much like the safari truck was.

Yes, surprised that that have not happened in BAM already *huh*

Given that in our area we still haven't seen the black dachshound reach the not-actually-open BAM towers yet, I'm OK if they take their time with other new animal prints in BAM.

I doubt it. In the top left corner you can see the wheelbarrow in a shade of a green we haven’t had wheelbarrows in before so if the bunny was in a new colour it would be most likely pictured.

A printed version of the bunny is included in the newly unveiled Spring Lantern Festival set (here on Brickset).

It's a white bunny with red eyes and nose, and a red pattern on the hind legs :

I guess that works if you want to build a Lego animal testing facility ?

Looks like a job for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!

It also has printed koi carp on tiles, not exactly a animal mould, but I think they will come in handy :sweet:

Indeed! I had not really noticed them... They will be easier to use in MOCs than the bunny!

Those koi tiles are quite nice and hopefully they are on bricks and pieces.  Lot's of great parts in the Chinese new year sets.  The bunny might be useful.  The monkey kid set has some nice 1x1 round tiles with a spider on them that could be very useful in MOC's as well.

This is a false alarm

There is a GWP coming of a Roman chariot with two horses if you buy the new huge colosseum set between 27-30/11.

Not to worry the horses are brick-built! On one hand I think this is a bad decision and it will most likely look better with moulded horses. On the other hand if they for some reason decided to make unique horses for the set it would be a nightmare to get them for those of us more interested in animal moulds than huge architecture sets  However I do think Lego should have included two of the white horses that came in HP last year instead of brick-building them :shrug_oh_well:

There‘s a new dog breed in one of the 2021 City sets  Looks like a labrador to me... The new leash part is also a welcome addition

Even in 2 colours like last years "new city dog" :sweet:
I know
@williejm will be happy with this confirmation

A little disappointing that the tractor only comes with a rabbit in the normal colour I must say, would not have cost them much to include a pig at least (hopefully the farm set in ideas will make it true review so we can get a proper farm set again) :hmpf_bad:

The frog also comes in pink for the first time in a friends play cube 41662. The "sparrow" mould is in another one in the same colour as the modular last year (41665):classic:

Loving the Labrador, and the assistance dog harness. That tractor set and the white rabbit is a disappointment though!

I’m going to call a (black) recolour of that Labrador mould, either in CMF or BAM

And there are lots of (looks like at least 10-20)  pink frogs in the Bonsai tree set.

You and your pig-obsession ?

I mean, I hadn’t really expected pink frogs growing in trees ... but sure ?

Well, they are likely meant to represent Cherry Blossom flowers, just like we have a lot of other frogs in sets meant as roof decorations, or Lion Suit ears (lion dance) etc :laugh_hard: same thing happens with recolors of bananas and sausage pieces.

Anyway, It's a 2-in-1 set with green leaves and pink leaves, so they use frogs for the shape, still a funny use.

*huh* I have not seen a proper picture of that set yet

 I gave up on B&P and bought some more on BL a couple of days, so I have enough for a decent farm now  I would have preferred a cow, horse or goat for the tractor set, but since the pig is in sets now I assumed that would be cheaper for Lego to add :shrug_oh_well:

The designers love to use the frog for other things

I actually think it is over 50 now that I have seen the picture *huh*
Not that I have much use for pink frogs, but this must be the set with most animals ever by a huge margin
