Yes, seagull and chihuahua both first appeared in Series 10. To my knowledge the chihuahua has shown up in a few sets since then, but the Old Fishing Store this autumn will be first reuse of seagull.

The Big Bang theory set had a chihuahua in it.

( and Assembly Square modular, and Juniors beach trip )

Hahaha, I couldn't remember any others. Are there any other animal moulds that have been seen in another set? Hold on yes! The monkey mould from Series 5 Zookeeper!

Harry Potter is returning next year and I'd say a new owl mould is more than likely

I'd also expect to see a new phoenix mould for Dumbledore's pet

Things could get even more interesting if they make a new mould for Nagini, Voldemort's giant snake

Image result for nagini gif

I do not expect a new owl mould, we got a very nice updated one with the last HP wave:thumbup:
HP on the other hand is a theme that have brought several new animal moulds to the table, so I expect we will see some new animals. The question is how many are normal animals and how many are "fantastic beasts" *huh*

Nagini could be made in three moulds in roughly the same size, one head, one tail and one body. Then you could make the snake as big as you like by adding more body parts, this way it would be very flexible to pose it around minifigs, in a three etc..

I'd like a recolored version of the phoenix or the rat :)

With Harry Potter all but confirmed, I'm guessing at least one out of the Basilisk, Buckbeak, Phoenix, or Nagini. Although, as per the rules of this guessing thread, do these fantasy creatures not count? Otherwise, I'd also guess maybe a Hungarian Horntail or other dragon

I am happy if they make them, but fantastic beast do not count in this tread except maybe Nagini if she is useable as a normal big snake :classic: But there are several "normal" animals in the wizarding world of Harry Potter you can guess on

Besides getting new beasts moulds, I think they could make a new toad and a new dog breed for Fang.

I have made a overview over all the normal animals Lego have released in minifig scale (Not minidoll, duplo, crazy eyes/colours etc).

To compare different years, I gave a new mould 4 points, new colour or updated mould 3 points, 2 points per animal or 1 point per small common animal (bats, frogs, spiders etc).

Hopefully not to many errors made in the process

What an amazing work! Do you have a complete list of every single animal mould Lego has released?

Looks like the new spider from the Jungle Exploration line shows up in GitD White in next years' Mining sets, as well as a bear in the big set.

Have little use of the spider, but what colour was the bear in? The same as in the forest police set?

Black with a dark flesh or nougat snout. I believe the police bear is brown with a tan snout, correct? Jungle spider is also in the Elves line some kind of yellow, possibly trans.

If it is black that is very good news! The two that came with the forest police(I mixed up forest and mountain ) was dark brown with a dark tan snout, but the one in the mountain police set look reddish brown on the blurry pic...

So, much like the maximising of the big cat mould, it sounds like (potentially) two new colour ways for the bear in reddish brown and black? Awesome.

So while everyone was talking about the Tree suit, Ninjago and NK baddies leaking, we all seemed to have missed that the black bear from the large Mining set also appears to have popped up.

Could be bootlego like the white tiger, but I couldn't pull one up on AliExpress, so...

The 5 last series of minifigures had animals. The last one (Ninjago series) had only the fishes we know, including one with a new color, black. But the 4 series before the last one was rich in new animal moulds :

Series 15 : skunk   /  Series 16 : new dog + pingu   /  Series 17 : new dog + rabbit  /  Series Batman : lobster

The Batman Series had also snake & fish we know. So I think we could legitimately expect at least 2 new moulds for the upcoming Series Batman #2 and Series 18. In the Series 16, the pingu correlates with the Pingu Costume.

Any ideas for a new mould in the Batman Series 2 ? Any ideas for a new animal mould correlating with a costume ?

Pigeon featured briefly in the Batman movie

We can hope, but there is a big difference between the normal series and a licensed or movie one. From a normal series we can expect a couple of new moulds. Series 18 is not a completely normal one, but if we get e.g. a sheep costume that could come with a sheep mould as well..

If we get a pigeon in the batman series, that would be much better than even the lobster in the first series, but we could also end up with noting or a small old animal mould like a snake, fish, spider etc

I was thinking about it and I'm really expecting the pigeon

That would be great but the pingu and the pingu costume weren't together, if we get a sheep costume, the sheep could be an accessory for another costume maybe a shepherd like Bo Peep
