I don't know what have bentioned or not, but

60300 - Two small chimps, new mold, they are not posable and have clips for minifigure accessories as hands. Like they can hold a banana.

60301 - A small cat and a big feline. It may be new or old, it's dark tan but it's just preliminary.

60302 - Elephant, Baby Elephant, Two small chimps, tan crocodile (but they can change its colour)

Welcome back and thanks for the info :sweet:
Are there any other big parts beside the cats in 60301 since the set is so pricey I mean (was sure the elephant was coming in that set because of the price, but maybe that is just how the 4+ sets roll:tongue:)
Was not expecting juvenile animals so this is sounding even better than I hoped for and there is even one big set and poly left :moar:

Yes they are wildlife rescue, and in my humble opinion the sets look like good ideas poorly realized, but the animals make you worry very little about the sets themselves.

Yes any set that give me this number of animals can look however bad it likes (i still hope they are decent so they sell a lot)

No, that is not in the catalog. I have seen pictures for Stunts, Wild Life Rescue, Harry Potter, Disney sets (the ones with Goofy Pluto and so on), Ninjago summer wave where they go underwater and little more.

Any other themes with any animals in them that you noticed?

I was hoping for more animals that have never been seen before in LEGO (looks over at the pair of rare Orient Expedition elephants sitting on my table :)

Seems I'm not "former" any more.
Alas, the basilisk and Fluffy in the HP sets are brickbuilt, like the Hungarian Horntail or the beasts in the Fantastic Beasts' suitcase.
That's a pity.

@Itaria No Shintaku Thank you so much for the info!

I believe it's the first time since the 1996 Paradisa foal that we'll got a juvenile animal out of the non-minifig themes (i.e. not Friends/Belville/Scala), am I right?

This also can be used both for a pony and for a juvenile Horse I suppose.

At least they have moulded heads

Speaking of Harry Potter: can you tell by the catalogue pictures whether the golden minifigs have yellow heads? Apparently, a yellow version of Harry‘s head leaked and has caused some confusion

In the catalog there is NO golden figure whatsoever but pictures are preliminar.

Yeah, they usually are  I assume the minifigs are mostly placeholders as well?

And I can’t wait to see how the Basilisk and Fluffy turn out! I definitely would have preferred full moulds, but a combination between brick-built bodies and moulded heads sounds good to me :classic: Can you tell how large they are compared to their 2001/2 counterparts?

I'd say slightly bigger than their counterparts but it's very difficult to tell by one picture only.
If I were to say something, I'd say 10% longer the basilisk, 10% bigger Fluffy.
76389 has even 9 minifigures!

Indeed, that's the one I was talking about : it's listed as a pony on BL and brickset, but it definitely has the morphology of a foal rather than a pony.
Even after a little research, I have not found a more recent juvenile animal in a minifig theme. Baby elephant and small feline will be more than welcome!

Don't get me wrong. The set has a big feline, dark tan like the mountain lion from older sets, and a very common cat.
But colours may vary in the final version.

Course they aren't, they're all in the usual flesh tones.

Thanks, what a relief  I was getting paranoid about that leaked yellow-headed Harry :laugh_hard:

I‘m not too sure how well the regular cat mould will work as a cub of a big cat, but with the right printing it could pan out :classic:

Well I have three elephants from OE and though they are really nice IMHO, they all sufer the fact that the legs are really really loose and I didn't play them a lot... it's a problem I saw in every elephant I have heard from.

That’s a pretty good info about Wildlife Resuce subtheme!

if chimps in taht subtheme are the new molds, I’m pretty surprised. It’s because we have chimps from CMF seriebut I think it’s a good timing to get an updated chimp, probably?

Because there are no animals confirmed yet for 60307, I wanna see a giraffe and zebra (recolored horse). It would be a little unlikely, considering giraffe needs new molds, but Lego won't shy away from making an elephant, so who knows? A rhino would be absolutely dope!

I think so, the juvenile cat came in -95 and those are the only ones I can remember on the top of my head

I guess we will see, but the cat could be a stand in I guess, however another mould may be pushing it since we got 3 already (and probably a new lion head since that make sense):sceptic:

Yes sorry the new molds are the small monkey and the two elephants.

So, they are using the regular cat for a lion(?) cub?? That sounds odd

But the new elephant molds sound great! Thanks for the info as usual

Sorry if it’s way off topic but does any one have  great white shark from Ocean Exploration Ship (60266) from 2020?

@Roebuck has already provided the answer and a picture (), but you might like to know that last year’s GW is the same size as the undead shark from PotC.

@Itaria No Shintaku, Thank you very much for the information on the forthcoming animals. Much appreciated!

I have an OE elephant in my display collection and its legs aren’t loose. I got it on the secondary market about 15 years ago. It was listed as new condition and I think it was; it wasn’t played with before I got it as far as I can tell. Since I got it, it’s just been standing on a shelf, being tormented by monkeys :monkey:

Yup, he did! I was not aware of the undead sharks in PotC sets. I missed that chance when I was in college. But I jsut bought the great white shark figure from eBay yesterday.

Thank you tho! :)
