I agree with @williejm However there is a moulded ladybug in "Friends Accessories, Flowers and Insects, 20 in Bag (Multipack)" from a few year back. I usually do not use Friends animals, but the multipacks are fine I think. I do not have it yet and it is without spots so maybe the printed part in the CMF is more useful anyway

May I share my pure speculation? 

When I notice Friends’ new (sorta) subtheme that focus on vet, this leads me to assume City may have vet subtheme next year.  Friends’ vet sets will be available soon on March 1, 2021. 

For example, in 2019, Freinds had ocean subtheme and then last year, City had ocean exploration subtheme. In 2020, Friends has jungle Resuce subtheme and then this year City will have wildlife rescue sets. 

However, it’s 100% specaution and it’s waaaaay early to predict tho... but I would love to see some more animals. 

If you think it’s not ok to post this speculation, I can delete it Just let me know!

When it comes to animal moulds there is definitely a pattern that animals showing up in Friends get one in City sometime later. Subthemes like veterinary, horse-farm, dog-show etc on the other hand I unfortunately do not see moving in to City anytime soon

It think this has to do with the overlap of appeal between the Friends buyers and City buyers. The types of play are also quite similar, but diverge enough for the subthemes to be distinct from one another.

There’s also a general pattern of animal moulds being reused - it’s very rare for them to only get one outing. So I’d expect new monkey, elephant(s) and lion(s) {which are pretty standard animals to have in the mix, let’s be honest} to somehow be used elsewhere. Maybe a vet theme, maybe an Ancient Rome theme, maybe a zoo theme, maybe a Mohawk space zombie animal adventure theme ...

I agree. In fact, we technically resuce wild animals and bring them to vet. That’s a wildlife rescue theme.

And personally, I’m not very sure about new animal molds for city vet clinic theme tho. Just reuse existing dog, cat, rabbit molds, etc. 

So - say, let’s wait for 2022. :)

I'm really itching to see what's in 60307! Does it have the same release date as the other sets? Maybe Lego's keeping it a secret because there are some amazing animals? It's so hard to wait, but March is here, so we may not have to wait too much longer...

Maybe Most likely it is a limited set that is only at sale from Lego and selected stores in every contry, those sets are not in the retail cataluge and therefore leak late or not at all usually

Indeed, although we didn’t, for example, know about the tiger big cat reprint in the jungle wave until it hit the shelves for that very reason. My guess would be a combination of some of the existing/new wildlife, possibly a recolour of elephant or something.

I just checked Brickset and Promobricks websites and, well, it seems like 60307 is not listed at the moment. I don’t know what it means but I sure hope it’s not a jelled or whatever it is. 

I guess we have to wait a little more.

60303 is listed under Wildlife Rescue so it is probably that unless we get even more in the subtheme

Hmm....I hope so but I thin Promobricks states that 60303 is City 2021 Advent Calendar. Who knows. :) 

EDIT: Actually, it looks like 60307 is listed in Stonewars website.

I honestly don’t mean to be provocative, but if the ladybug tiles don’t count, then why would the bee tiles? If anything, a ladybug is more nearly shaped like a (round) tile than a bee is.

News from Promobricks on an as yet unseen upcoming Disney set, 10775 Mickey and Donald's Farm. It includes a SHEEP! Big hope it isn't brick built.
