There's now a picture around of what looks like test moulds of a new dog and a squirrel. The dog looks like Friends style given how rounded it is, but the squirrel looks in line with minifigure-theme animals.

The person who posted them claims they are very much real. If so, bring it on!

Two new mould prototype pieces seem to have a leaked, a schnauzer and a squirrell  They’re on a roll with new animal moulds!

I’d say that is a Scottish terrier - but either way, yay! 🐿

Hopefully that squirrel is leading to some City Forest sets (some predicted it due to Friends having Forest this year)

Agreed. We now have deer, bear, eagle, owls, rabbit, mouse, hare & otter moulds … so…

Hm, I think you’re right. The proportions are indeed a lot closer to a Scottish terrier

Us Scots know our wee terriers 😉

Both look more like city animals than friends animals. I want both!

A squirrel would be a nice accessory with the ‘forest spirit’ in series 22. Just saying.

You could be right there. We will see. :)

I had to look him up! But you’re right! We just need squirrels for everything!

I, for one, welcome our new nut-munching overlords …

Looks like the new squirrel *might* have clutching ability between those wee paws

Strange that someone has managed to get a picture of them that early in the process, I am not saying they are not real, but no wonder they hire a team of leak hunters  Even if they are real, some prototypes do not end up as new moulds in the end, so I would feel much safer we are getting them if they had been finished in the picture :shrug_oh_well:

and that is the most important thing, so the chances are good we are getting them I guess :sweet:

Im starting to think a goat might have attacked a LEGO Designer or something

There are throwing new animal molds left and right but the goat is still missing

There's a possibility they might do a new goat for the Thor 4 set(s), because Thor's goats from the comics are thought to appear based on set pictures.

I need squirrels to inhabit my forests.  Another dog breed is also welcomed.  I am also hoping for some more colors of the small bird we just have blue and white, I would like to see red, black, yellow, grey, purple, and several other shades.  Need a proper wolf not a warg from LOTR and a fox.  Need more bird varieties too.  Would like to see some more variations of fish also.  Any type of gazelle or antelope would be amazing.

Now we just need an actual Moose mold, to go with the Squirrel mold. Yes I know there is a brick built one from Creator, but it's "Badinoff" (bad enough) to have one and not the other.

Real question is, can the Squirrel fly?

:laugh:The pressure is getting bigger and bigger so I think they just wait for the right set to include it , maybe the anniversary set next year if that is a Castle set

Nice, I assume that is going to be billy goats so a little bigger and baaader  then the old cute mill village raid ones. However as long as they make the mould as the new juvenile crocogator in the Marvel CMF is should be no problem to use it in a farm or castle theme later :sweet:

True, they would be different goats, but some sort of goat is better than none!

I mean, in many ways that’s quite a fair way to do it - the original elusive goat remains original and elusive, but everyone who wants has goat-access 😂
