Hmmm I think it could have something to do with Norse mythology (because that’s what Thor’s based on). I remember that Thor had two goats that pulled his chariot. It could be a clever modern reincarnation of the chariot.

Haha we’ll attack TLG with castle! It’s a good thing that TLG hasn’t reintroduced castle yet. Then again we would face mindstorms terminators, 1000000 spring loaded shooters, stud shooters, and technic missiles, the droid army, the clone army, the Death Star, the ninja, the avengers, the justice league, the infinity gauntlet, and jaime Berard in a modular building tank.

Hey AFOLs (Animal Fans of Lego)!

looks like Jurasic World theme has a few more new specs this time.

1.) Quetzalcoatlus

2.) Pyroraptor

3.) Smaller version of raptor (no idea if it’s Blue’s baby or new spieces, such as Afrorapor yet)

I’m hoping for Parasaurlophus or some new herbivores.

There’s a printed ‘baby’ raptor for Blue’s baby, but there’s also another ‘new’ raptor, smaller than the standard one, in the set with T Rex

so far we have seen 

recolours - T. rex, raptor, dilophosaurus, baby raptor

new - quetzalcoatlus, pyroraptor, smaller raptor

You forgot to mention Triceratops for recolor :)

I think the goats might be brick built in the Goat Boat set, because they are not mentioned in the list of included minifigures in the set description

Description of Jane Goodall promo set is out. Says it includes ‘three chimpanzees’. No clarification if it’s the existing mould, or something new.

I sure hope it’s new one because there is a new Stunz set in City theme,  “Smashing Chimp Double Loop” or spike that.

Sonic was able to come back because the mold was still sitting in storage somewhere and was still usable.

According to what's been said by LEGO people, the goat mold is not usable anymore (unlike Sonic) so a new one would have to be created (which would be expensive and hard to justify given that goats aren't the most popular animals out there)

Goats less popular now than hermit crabs, skunks, cats with mohawks …

The hermit crab and skunk were (IIRC) created for the CMF line and they have different stuff in place about when and how new molds can be made.

IIRC the Mohawk cat was also created for a CMF (LEGO Movie 2). And the one they have now in Monkie Kid is a core character in a major theme (and would be popular not because "its a cat with a Mohawk" but because "its a major character in a cartoon series")

I still think the understanding the goat mould is broken isn't exactly a valid enough reason for them not to bring it back. It isn't like new moulds aren't being made all the time or that they would have deleted all the details of how the first mould was made.

This would be popular, particular as trees are a weak point for Lego so getting a decent tree plus multiple goats would be great. I would still prefer the giraffe I've been waiting over 30 years for though!.

Making a new mold often take a time.

Agreed. They are deliberately teasing with it. It could appear in CMF anytime as a ‘new’ version if they need that for a new mould budget.
