Posted May 28, 20177 yr Hi! When I received my BuWizz, I wanted to make a fast RC model. It had to be very light, so a kart was good to make that.  The mechanic is very simple. There are just some gears to turn the wheels at a high speed. As you can see, the driving is powered by two L motors and the steering by a servomotor.  According to the tyres, this kart is very fast! Â
May 28, 20177 yr Fast and fun! I like it a lot, the bright green looks great on this model. Edited May 31, 20177 yr by Leonardo da Bricki spelling error
May 28, 20177 yr Lovely and fast! Tried to recreate the model from the photos but got into difficulties, any chance for an ldd file please?
May 28, 20177 yr Wooha, looks great and runs real fast (saw the video). We are testing the new BuWizz app feature of running 2 or more output channels with one control, which means even more power for models with 2 or more drive motors :-) App will be released soon!
May 29, 20177 yr Author Thanks for the comments! I know that the tyres are too big, but I don't have the #42048's tyres. Furthermore, this kart is very very close to the floor, and actually the chassis touch the floor sometimes. That would be more embarrassing with smaller tyres. And I think these tyres give a good look to the kart. ^^ @Ron1 Cool! More and more power!  Here is the Rebrickable link: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8322/Anto/rc-karting-buwizz/  Edited May 29, 20177 yr by Anto
May 29, 20177 yr Wow, very well packed, especially the servo. I don't mind slightly bigger tires, they give the cart a bit "chibi" look. Indeed looks like a lot of fun. How damaged are the L motors?

True it looks fat with that motor at the front, but it is simple, fast and functional as we can see. Cool idea to make simple rc vehicle. I never though about making kart as rc modelÂ

I couldn't figure out what was holding the servo motor in that angle (I totally missed the angled beam)... Btw, Is that "3 pins" steering setup common? Never saw it before. Is it responsive/precise enough? Anyway, just wanted to say that love the build and the details! Edited May 30, 20177 yr by BarakRL

May 31, 20177 yr That looks real fun to drive! I especially like the colors. And that steering looks interesting...

May 31, 20177 yr Only a little bit. Maybe if you used black instead of light bley connectors it would look better, as the eye would then be drawn to the bright green instead.
May 31, 20177 yr Author Thanks!  @MajklSpajkl Here are the motors after the video : It's not very important because they are working, but it's less beautiful. ^^  20 hours ago, BarakRL said: Thank you so much for taking the time to make the LDD file! You're welcome, that was nothing! I made this system for the simplicity. It's more precise than a system using gear on a rack, because this system is very direct. (With a gear, the wheels can move a little. They can almost not move at all with this system) Â
July 12, 20177 yr @Thorsten50 your work is awesome and your contributions to the technic scene are immense! Thanks for all your awesome work.Â

July 12, 20177 yr Author Thank you a lot for your work Thorsten! @technic_addict I put my kart on Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8322/Anto/rc-karting-buwizz/#comments (And I changed the instruction by Thorsen's ones) Edited July 12, 20177 yr by Anto
