June 5, 20177 yr Agreed- the barrel could use some more stability, but looks good overall. Nice shaping on the body, and I especially like the way the turret was done- it's great!

Barrel warp is something I have been fighting with almost every model, It has a 32 stud long axle running through it. I guess I could always try custom Aluminum or steel axles, that would work It appears TCLB misread the IS tank wiki... Lol some sort of alternative history where Stalin develops IS-7 in 1944 instead of 1948, and unleashes the massive 130mm armed beast against puny German Panther and King tiger tanks. I bet a couple dozen of these could have easily taken Berlin in 1944 as fast as Germany took Paris. https://thelegocarblog.com/2017/06/05/battle-of-berlin/ Edited June 5, 20177 yr by Tommy Styrvoky

I learned that mast made from 3x more 4023 flat 2x2 round plate barrels is stronger that mast made from 3941 1L tall 2x2 round barrels. Tank is great BTW.
June 5, 20177 yr Author Here's a GIF of the transmission/steering unit. I will be releasing the LDD on Rebrickable for it later this week.
June 5, 20177 yr I agree that this is absolutely your best tank so far. Particularly impressed with the curves in the model. Looking forward to the publication on Rebrickable!
June 6, 20177 yr One of your best tanks yet! The transmission looks cool, thanks for putting this up on Rebrickable!
June 8, 20177 yr Author Rebrickable for the steering mechanism/transmission is available. http://www.rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8474/TommyStyrvoky/integrated-dual-differential-steering-mechanism-with-two-speed-transmission/#comments
June 9, 20177 yr I don't know how you do it but I'm mighty glad you do, I wouldn't know where to start. Without doubt this is your best build yet.
June 29, 20177 yr Awesome shapes. You got the curved lines pretty well. One of the best tanks I've had seen!
February 17, 20187 yr I have always really enjoyed your tanks. And the amount of details that go into the digital renderings, the details, shots of innards and digital overlays are just incredible. As always, thanks for sharing.
February 20, 20187 yr Your tanks are amazing and this one is incredible. Growing up I was into reading about the world wars and the machines used (tanks, fighter aircrafts) and as a result I got into building tamiya models. Today I'm struggling to stay focused on technic supercars with these great tanks of yours! Keep up the great work!
March 12, 20186 yr Those angles! Fantastic model all around, but I really like how accurate you were able to get the turret! Keep up the awesome work!
