If you go to https://www.lego.com/en-au/service, there is an option to 'Send Email' and directly below that is an option to 'Phone Us'.  Click that, and select your country from the drop-down to get their phone number.

Exactly!

We're open 24 hours from Monday to Friday.

I recommend giving them a call. That will speed things up.

I should have said I know that they do, and I find good in knowing every lego I use is from lego.

Was just joking.

I use a brick separator to disconnect the PF connectors whenever possible.  Also it works for removing batteries from the battery boxes.

I remember a few years ago my NXT 2.0 broke due to leaking batteries. I contacted Lego and they sent me a brand new one. This is a set from 2009 getting a brand new €200 piece 6 years after release (at the time). Lego's customer service is one of the best of any companies.

Yes, they are.  They replaced my NXT 2.0 when a capacitor inside exploded.  It made a loud boom when I turned on the NXT one day and smoke appeared under the LCD glass. I had to sent the broken one back when the new one arrived.
