Just for a bit of fun, here's a MOC I recently came up with. But what is it? Can you figure it out? The forum it's posted in should give you a clue, but that's the only hint you'll get to start with. To make it more interesting I can offer a free download of any model from my website for the first person to correctly guess what it is.

Nice guesses everyone! I can definitely see the resemblance to a droid tank and K2SO.

Another hint is that, as keen eyes may have noticed, it isn't entirely symmetrical. This relates to its function.

An anagram of SAD ANDY SPLIT will also get you most of the way to the answer.

It is indeed a display stand. But for what? Think of an official set that would benefit more than most by having one.

I am thinking it is for some small star fighter. It does not look sturdy enough for larger ships. But I can't tell if it's for something that already has a stand or not. Honestly most things benefit from a display stand. hmmm.  All I can think of is either a B-Wing or old school Slave I fitting in there. Because those are the only ships that look the best when displayed upright/.

Is it for the TIE Advanced Prototype?
